Hmmm... My Mudkip and Sandshrew have both been attacked quite a bit. I'll head over to Pollomium Village and heal my Pokémon. After that, I will continue on to  Route 2 and try to encounter a wild Pokémon in the grass there.

deg2000 : Yes, you have to weaken the pokemon first, however, you only have one turn after it appears to capture it, after that turn, it flee's.

Andae : So if I want to capture a pokémon I have to throw a pokéball in the first round and hope I'm lucky... but aren't there any pokémon that just won't flee, even when I don't want to capture them? Or do I have to train my pokémon through battling against others, or does one of my actions have to be 'training in the grass'?

juuldude: No, you can attack once, and throw a pokeball in the same turn, the attack will increase your chances to capture, if you merely wish to train, then you can attack twice, and your pokemon will gain experience for those attacks, since zanderlex dispenses damage per attack, not for defeating a pokemon.

Surgiac : Wow ,i can not believe you nicknamed your Eevee Mr E ,your Swirlix Cotton ,and your Sentret Frankie ,that's really creative.

vizzy900 : Well, Mr E is a play on mystery because of the many different evolutions of Eevee. Cotton is because Swirlix reminds me of cotton candy & that's what I named my Swirlix in Pokemon Y. Frank Burns, aka Frankie, is a reference to the TV show MASH. Sentret evolves into a ferret & they sometimes call a character on MASH, whose name is Frank Burns, Ferret Face.

13,000 Viz might not be worth it.... How much for just the tropius? I continue walking in the grass for another encounter.
