Do you own a radio?

If so which radio do you own?

I don't mean internet radio.

I mean a real stand alone radio.

What do you listen to also?

Digital radio, satellite or analogue also?

Well I do have a radio that also serves as an alarm, digital clock and CD player...
I tend to listen to pop / dance music on it since it's my favorite genre of music.

No. I havent had a radio in over ten years. Once the local stations all switched to playlists given to them by the big record companies and after they canceled this one last latenight talkradio show where all these freaks and perverts would call I figured I dont need one anymore.

It feels weird to hear a question like this being asked, as radios were almost equal to Television and Video Games around my house growing up.

Yes, I do own a CD Player/Radio (it also lets you hook up an Mp3 player to it). I almost never use it anymore because I can't play music loud where I live now. When I live in a place where I can blast my music loud, I like to hook my phone up to it and play some of my Mp3's really loud (how does one listen to RED with the volume down low?).

As for listening to an actiual radio station, no, I don't. I prefer CD and Mp3, because I can listen to whatever song I want to, when I want to, rather than waiting on some DJ to play one I like.

Yes.. In my car >< lol I actually love talk radio... I'm from Los Angeles so Kevin and Bean, Heidi and Frank, and of course the infamous Loveline (Which everyone should listen to if you have the chance).
Oh and AM 570 Home of the Los Angeles Dodgers!!! woo nothing beats a good listen to the great Vin Scully calling a game.

I just bought a radio a few days ago so I could listen to my baseball games. For many years, I always listened to the games on the radio on WFAN 66 AM. A couple years ago, WFAN bought another station on FM, 101.9. I no longer needed a radio because I could listen to the FM broadcast from my MP3... Until now.

This season, another team bought WFAN, after decades of being with my team, and my team moved to an AM only station, so now I had to get a radio again to listen to the games. It also really sucked because I was a huge fan of 101.9 FM for more than a decade before it became a sports station and was still a music station.

I don't know much about the radio itself. I believe its a Colby, and I bought it at PC Richard & Son, and it came with some really cool headphones.

I don't really have a plain old radio, but I do have my docking station alarm clock which can allow me to listen to the radio. It's sort of pointless where I live, though, since there's only one station and it's full of songs that I hate.

Car radio. Would say I Heart Radio but that doesn't count. As for the car radio, I have Sirius XM. Most of the local radio stations where I live are horrible or plays the same thing.

I have a radio in my car...I never listen to on-air radio though.

If I wanna listen to anything, I plug my phone into it and stream something. (Yay unlimited data!)

Yes, I do. It's really nice but dated.

I rarely use it now that most of my music is electronic. =/

It has incredible volume capabilities, which makes it fantastic for parties.

My dad is an old radio DJ so of course we have several radios around here.  The CD/Radio player in the kitchen, a wireless radio for camping and when the power goes out also for cook outs too!  Then we have the XM/Sirrius radio in the cars.  I listen to online radio every night when the good shows come on.  I can not imagine living without one except that all the stations that are around us are no longer being run by people but machines.... T.T  All those good talk shows on the radio going away!

There's one in my car, of course. And then my alarm clock has a radio built in. And my stereo system has an AM/FM radio.
But then I also have an old General Electric radio from the late 70s. It belonged to my grandfather, and certain kinds of music sound the best on it, so I could never throw it away. Oh, and I also own four walkmans... two that play CDs and two that play tapes.

And I agree that most of the radio stations out there are becoming syndicated and robotic. However there's still just a few good ones, just none that I can reach by traditional FM signal anymore, so I use the TuneIn radio app on my phone.

I own a lot of radios... I think about 7.
2 are pocket radios, 2 are borrowed from my dad, One I got for my birthday, And 1 is an alarm clock i used to use, And one I got as a gift from a relative.
I listen to modern music... So basically anything new.. pop.
Pretty sure all of them are analogue.

I do have a radio in my car.  Given my local choices of stations, the 'golden oldies' is the least dire.

I also have one radio aside from that, but I don't listen to it on a regular basis.  It's one of those emergency radios, with a hand crank for in case the power goes out for an extended period - it's more intended for listening for weather or emergency announcements than music, and it has a flashlight and a lamp attached.  Pretty fancy, considering it's mostly used as a paper weight!

I don't really own anything with a radio function, other than an alarm clock and a cellphone, both of them most likely digital...I might try getting a radio, but I'm not totally sure about it.
