To start with this is the third game in the Pokemon Ranger series. And in my opinion the best. I like them all but this one is definitly on top.

Graphics: 10
As DS games go and compared to the two previous entries in the series the graphics are well done. The fluid movements and simple design is easy to like. Plus if you have played the first game you can really see the difference in quality. The graphics have made a leap in the right direction with this game. Also the introduction of a now reconizeable mascot for the spin-off series, Ukelele Pichu, adds to the overall graphics seeing as the others had less to offer on that front.

Sound: 10
Another memerable soundtrack that I come to love. Many sound carry over from the prior two games but there are some new sounds as well. I will always love the Go Rock Quads Theme and little Ukelele Pichu's song as well. Both are just amazing plus the pichu is just too cute, especially when playing its Ukelele.

Addictiveness: 10
I have played this game several times so its safe to say that it can be replayed without to much boredom. Some parts become tedious but others remain good no matter how many times you play it. The story and depth will be a reason to this.

Story: 10
I cant say everything but i will say this, while showing some redundent lines at times because your character never speaks, the overall story is pretty intresting and the twist at the end can catch you off guard if you don't see it coming. But the charming story of friendship and how connecting with others can solve many puzzling situations is a solid setup and probably the best yet for the series.

Depth: 10
There is plenty to do in this game. The story itself is long and involved. Add to that the quests and trying to complete the browser( for those who don't know that is the same thing as the pokedex in the main series games.) there is an abundance of material to beat. But the addition of the extra multi-player missions that take place the starting village adds another storyline and even more to do seeing as the browser is different for these missions. Then any downloads you manage to get. Wow thats alot to do. You can even upgrade the performance of our styler in the game as well. The last addition to the game is the Ranger signs. Draw a sign on the ground to call certain Pokemon, like the legendary dog trio or Latias/Latios depending on your character's gender.

Difficulty: 9
The game is actually not all that hard but many mistakes can be the end of you. Timing and forsight are key components of this game. Puzzles may require going back to previous places to get a Pokemon needed to go farther in the dungeon, or timing a sprint across a dangerous area and bad timing can either cause damage or you having to restart at the begining of the puzzle. While it is definitely easier then the first and second games some area are more challenging then any area of the prior games, namely the multi-player missions which can be done alone but much easier with a partner or more then one friend to aid the back and forth walking that some dungeons feature to stop you from reaching the goal.

Overall: 10
As i stated at the beginning of this review that of the three Ranger games this is by far my favorite. The story is the best out of the three and they got rid of the tedious problem of having to practically restart the capture if the line broke. This made completing captures easier so the overall game was made easier. The fact that there is so much to do in this installment makes for a game that only those who want to beat everything will have the drive to complete all the content. I have tried but still can't beat all the multi-player missions on my own. The fact that they made Ukelele Pichu your partner is awesome and they bring back the Go Rock Quads. Again I love the music in this game. And the graphics have been fine-tuned since the last game. So much to do and so little time to do it. I hope you like my review and I hope this will let other enjoy yet another game that I have fond memories of.
