Your playing Mega Man 5 it is a cool game, but the robot masters are driving you crazy  Well in this walk through I will be giving some guides and tips on how to conquer the robot masters and so you will feel great . Okay I will be using a difficulty scale 1-10 on how I rate stages and bosses.

1-2 Easy
3 Slightly Difficult
4-5 Moderate Difficulty
6-7 difficult
8-10 Very difficult

Okay for Robot Master order that I use ( I have two orders I go in)
Order #1
Gyro Man
Crystal Man
Napalm Man
Stone Man
Charge Man
Star Man
Gravity Man
Wave Man

Order #2
Star Man
Gravity Man
Gyro Man
Crystal Man
Napalm Man
Stone Man
Charge Man
Wave Man

I will be using the first order I recommend since that is the one I mostly go with. Okay so here we go.

Gyro Man stage (difficulty rating 6/10)
From the start of this stage it is obvious it is the air stage of the game. The Music is nice and so is the stage. Just go right into the elevator. You do not have to do any thing as there are no enemies on this elevator. You will be greeted with a shield cannon enemy. Don't shoot it until it shows it cannon then fire. A charged shot takes them out. Jump to the next platform and so on. Just climb the ladder. Avoid the rotating enemies on the platforms proceed to the next ladder. Next is a room full of camera enemies shoot them down if you want too and proceed. Then you see spinning platforms and more camera enemies. I find it is best to ignore the spy enemies and focus on getting to the ladder then you can shoot the spy enemies (camera enemies) down if you want.  The next room has sphere shaped enemies just blast them and they go down climb you guessed it another ladder. Now, you have a room with more cannons just shoot them. The next ladder is a big burly enemy named Power Muscle. You can fight him if you want but it is best to just slide under him and proceed. Now here is were it starts to get dicey. You have spike enemies that want to drop down on you and have to go across platforms that fall. Middle ways you will see the letter A to get this you can jump on the one wait a second as it starts to fall collect the letter and jump up. Now you have an elevator with spikes coming down on you. Quickly dodge. After the elevator quickly shoot the flying enemies. Now you have made it to Gyro Man. Gyro Man (difficulty 4/10) Gyro man can be tricky due to the fact it can be hard to see were he lands. His pattern is simple he will throw Gyro copters at you, then fly back up in the clouds. Were he lands is the hard part. Once he lands he repeats just blast him with charged shots to win. If you have Gravity Hold it knocks him out the sky quick. I give the stage ratting a 6/10 for a few reasons. The enemy placement just loves to knock you into the pit and then you have that spike elevator. Gyro man gets a 4/10 because while it is tricky were he will land his AI pattern is easy to figure out.

Crystal Man stage (Difficulty 8/10)
Now for one of the hardest stages in the game. You first see the shiny crystals and some enemies that are in two parts. For a quick kill shoot the top part. Proceed down and you see more of them enemies just continue to blast the top part. Now here comes the hard part, you will see crystals coming out the shafts. Take your time here because one miss up and you will get hit and fall into the pits. Carefully time your jumps, easier said than done. Next, is a room were Eddie gives you an item. After that you meet Crystal Joe. Crystal Joe is immune to buster shots while forming Crystals, so after he fires shoot him with a charged shot to take him out. Shortly after you have more crystals coming down from the shafts, along with Sniper Joes. Take the Joes out first and then do as you did before and avoid the falling crystals. After that, climb the ladder shoot the mine sweeper enemy, get on the spinning platform it will take you to the ladder climb it. The room after is a breather just shoot the car enemies they only take one shot to destroy. You will then fall into a pit hang a right to collect an Energy Tank. You will notice the room you drop into has a top platform. Use Rush Coil to get the top platform slide and collect the M Tank. Proceed and shoot the mouse and mine sweeper enemies. Now another tough part you fall into a long pit with death spikes. What you want to do is hold left avoiding the spikes to collect the letter V, it will also lead you to the edge were you can fight Power Muscle. Now onto Crystal Man. Crystal Man (difficulty rating 5/10) Crystal man can be a bit tricky because he likes to jump and fire Crystals at you. The Crystals he fires splits and will bounce off the ways so they can do multiple hits. In addition he can fire regular shots at you too. Gyro attack after being fired can be guided up or down, use that to your advantage. After a while Crystal Man goes down. I give the Crystal Man stage a solid rating of 8/10 because of the traps. You have the falling crystals that just want to knock you into the pit. There are two of them rooms Then you have the Crystal Joes wanting to shoot you while your dodging the falling Crystals. Finally you have that path of long falling spikes. Crystal Man gets a 5/10 because his Crystal eye is hard to dodge and he can jump. However he can be locked into a patter if you are decent so he is moderate on difficulty.

Napalm Man's Stage (difficulty rating 5/10)
Aw a nice summer in the Jungle the music is good the palm trees are moving up and down. However, get ready for things to change quick. Before you  move charge up your buster. Just walking through you will be greeted with fast and powerful Tiger robots. A charged shot takes them out otherwise they will hit you and do a lot of damage quickly. Jump down and shoot the other tiger. Ugh I love Tigers wish I didn't have to shoot them. After that you will be dropped into another pit. Mets will be on top of weapons shoot them with charged up shots. Now charge your buster because you have to pass a tunnel with drills in it. The drills have death spikes in front of them if you touch one of them you die. The drills can be destroyed with a charged shot so proceed.  Now you come up into a cave there is a hidden passage to your left just jump right in to get the Energy Tank. The waterfalls look nice but you have mines ignore them are use Gyro Attack to take them out. Apache Joe can be a big pain because they like to swarm you. Use Gyro Attack are charged weapons to destroy them. After that you are back on top with the Jungle background. You see a thick armored enemy making missiles shoot it in the head with a charged shot for a quick pass. Right before the next drop down hang a left to get the letter N. Now you have another tunnel with missiles shoot them but beware the missiles will break apart. Now you have a Power Muscle enemy again right when you see him just stay under and shoot him rapidly he goes down quick. Now you have another area but jump before you jump across the space. The reason is you want to trick the missiles that are going to be coming up from the pits. Also take out the bomb throwing enemies you have made it to Napalm Man. Napalm Man (difficulty rating 5/10) Napalm Man is fast  he likes to jump and fire Napalms at you, fire missiles at you and bombs. What you want to do is keep your distance from him. Fire Crystal Eye at him remember if it bounces off the walls it splits and thus you can still hit him. He should go down eventually just do not rush this fight because if you get close to him it turns the battle in his favor. I give the Napalm Man stage a 5/10. It is a face paced stage with the tigers, the drills and the missiles can kind of be tricky. But if you know what your doing it is not to bad. I give Napalm Man a 5/10 rating. Napalm man has a lot of weapons he fires at you and he can be jumpy. However due to the fact that if you keep your distance he is less likely to corner you so that makes him moderate difficult.

Stone Man Stage (Difficulty Rating 6/10)
Now for one of the longest stages in the game. Stone Man's stage starts off with a mountain in the background. The first enemy you meet is a met. Shoot the mets and they split into 3 tiny mets that will explode if they hit you so watch out for that. Climb the ladder and you will meet what looks like an oyster enemy that behaves like the bats in earlier Mega Man games. The oysters go down easy so just shoot them. Next you have more mets to deal with and a couple of minds. But look carefully before the ladder you will see a funny looking wall at the bottom shoot it, and reveal a hidden passage. Slide into the hidden passage and you get the letter G. Now you can climb the ladder. The next room is just filled with Mets, Oysters and rock throwing enemies so just blast your way through. Climb the next ladder and get a new enemy falling exploding enemies take them out quickly otherwise they will run on the ground fast and then explode. Climb another ladder notice another funny looking block in the wall, take it out and you can get an M tank. Note if you collected the M tank in Crystal Man's stage the M tank will not be here so if that is the case it is pointless to reveal the passage. Now you have a room with spy enemies and shield enemies and mets take them out. You will see another passage in the wall use Rush Coil and grab an extra life. The next room has more spy enemies just deal with them as you did before. You will find 3 spinning platforms ride them up to grab an Energy Tank. Use Rush Jet to get back across climb the ladder. and Eddie will hand you something, if you are low on special weapons reveal another secrete passage to get weapon energy. The next room has a lot of the same enemies just deal with them and you are at Stone Main's gate. Stone Man (Difficulty rating 5/10) Stone Man likes to jump a lot and land. It is funny when he lands he turns into a ruble of bricks. He can also fire his power stone which if your right next to him it does a lot of damage. The biggest threat though is him landing on you. For a quick win use Napalm Bomb. I give the Stone Man stage a 6/10 mainly because this stage is very long. The stage is long and they throw a lot of enemies at you, exploding mets, oysters, stone throwing weapons, exploding & falling enemies, shield enemies and then there is the spy enemies. Stone Man gets a 5/10 because if he lands on you it does a lot of damage. But the thing is he can be dodged.

Charge Man stage (difficulty rating 3/10)
The Charge Man stage takes place on a train. The first part of this stage just deals with airborne bomb enemies they are easy to take out and dodge so nothing too hard. Next you are on top of the train. The only enemies here are mets on trains just shoot the with power shots to take them out. Also the bomb throwing enemies can be taken out quick with a charged shot. Next your down into one of the train crates. You will find mouse enemies charged shots take them out. Then you have hen that drop out eggs that just like to walk into you. If you are low on health shoot the eggs as they are dropping to get energy. You will notice the letter A.. Just jump up or use Rush to get the letter A. Then you are taken back on top of the train deal with the enemies you did before. Next you have a few more enemies and you make it to Charge Man. Charge Man (difficulty Rating 7/10) Charge Man can be a problem. The biggest reason is he is big and he is hard to clear when you need to jump over him. He also likes to turn red and fire coal up in the air which can rain on you. His weakness is power stone but it is hard to hit him with it. I recommend just using charged up power shots. He is hard to dodge sometimes so beware of that. I give the stage a rating of 3/10. This stage is pretty easy, too bad the boss isn't ) the only trouble is the enemy placement but if you use your shorts or special weapons it is a breeze. Charge man gets a rating of 7/10. He is hard to dodge when he charges at you; it is so easy not to be able to clear him. Not to mention he likes to release coal up in the air. So yeah not the easiest boss.

Star Man Stage Rating 6/10)
Star Man stage is ice the way the stars glow. However quickly slide run or whatever unless you want to be pelted with falling meteorites. You will notice that you can jump higher in this stage due to the low gravity. The net room you have an enemy that bounces up and down and pop up cannons just take them out with charged shots. The next room has death spikes so be careful were you jump and more cannons. Next comes a pit hang to the right to avoid landing on the death spikes. You will then find more cannons. Next comes a time jump there is the letter M on top but just above it or death spikes. What you want to do is make a cautious jump, remember you can jump higher in this stage, to get the letter. Now you have space mets that shoot at you but swarm you and now the floor has death spikes so make careful  jumps. The next room has those break apart missiles, it is best to take the lowest one out and then slide and climb the ladder. The next area has more mets, baseball throwing machines, and missiles that pop up from the ground. After all that you have an enemy that looks like something out of star wars firing lasers at you. The best thing to do is shoot the top part of the enemy. You have now made it to Star Man. Star Man( difficulty rating 4/10) Star Man likes to jump and throw his star shield at you. However here is were you can use the ability to jump to your advantage dodge his stars and fire. Star Man goes down in no time. I give the Star Man rating a 6/10 because there is a lot going on in this stage. You have the cannons, the ability to jump higher and a lot of death spikes it is so easy to miscalculate a jump and land on spikes. Star Man gets a 4/10 because while he does jump and may corner you. The fact is he leaves himself open for attacks and he can be locked into a simple pattern. After defeating Star Man you also get the super arrow

Gravity Man stage(  difficulty rating 3/10)
Now time for an up and down stage. There really isn't much here to start this stage off besides cannon enemies. Another enemy is a capsule that just drops pellets on you. The gravity will change so now you are upside down. Don't worry its a gimmick in this stage. Take out the screw driver enemies. You will pass through another gravity switch and end upside down again. This time you have wrecking chain linked wrecking ball enemies just slide under them and you can pass.  You then have more screw driving enemies and more cannon enemies. The gravity now reverts back to normal and you fall down into a pit. While falling down make sure you hang a right or you will land on death spikes. Then you have more cannons to shoot. Power Muscle is the next enemy you can slide under or fight. If you fight stay to the far left and just spam him with shots. Next you have another gravity switch and the same enemies as before. However, you will notice there is a space and the letter M. Jump and get the letter M and then quickly swerve ever to the lower gravity side or else you will be pulled into a pit and die. The Next parts include gravity switches.  jump the death spikes as your being pulled up hang a right and avoid the spikes.  Now Gravity Man awaits you. Gravity Man (difficulty rating 3/10) Gravity Man is not that hard, yes he can change gravity and tries to collide with you as well as sometimes shooting at you. However he leaves himself open to attacks. You can use Star Crash on him if you like are just charged buster shots. I give the gravity stage a 3/10 because of the gravity switches other than that this stage is easy. While Gravity man tries to collide and can switch the gravity he leaves himself open for attacks. Thus he is not to hard of a boss to fight.

Wave Man stage (difficulty 6/10)
Wave Man stage starts off with wrecking balls just avoid them. But pay attention to the cracks in the flooring because steam comes up that can damage you. You will see a tunnel of pipes, just jump into them does not matter which one. Avoid the steam and roller enemies. Now you have an area with bubbles coming up, What you want to do is get on the biggest bubble and ride it to the top once you get past that. Jump onto two small bubbles and then a big one ride it up and switch again to the platform. Now you have the Jet ski section. Are you ready it is now time for pain. There is a lot of enemies on the jet ski section. you have mines, fish that dive up at you and behind you are jet ski weapons that want to shoot you in the back. These enemies all come at once. Now you have a middle boss in this stage. The robotic octopus. The mini boss just loves to move up and down and shoot energy shots. I should not that you can not charge your buster so aim carefully. After defeating him you have the  to be really careful to get the letter E. Jump after two fish jump up be careful are you will miss the last letter. Now you have reached the gate of Wave Man. Wave Man (difficulty rating 6/10) Wave Man can be tricky he loves to fire his harpoon at you and create waves at you that will hit you. In the mean time he likes to jump he is also fast. Charge Kick is his weakness. However while he fires his harpoon he will leave himself open so use that to your advantage. I give the stage rating a 6/10 the reason being is the jet ski section. The rest of the stage is easy. But the enemy placement on the jet ski section really drives this up. Also there is the stage boss. Wave Man gets a 6/10 because he is fast, can jump when you are not expecting it, and fire his harpoon. However, he does leave himself open. After collecting all the letters you get Beat the bird that attacks everything.

Proto Man Stage one  (Difficulty 3/10)
The first part of the stage there really isn't much just a few tigers, spy enemies, and wide gaps. After climbing the ladder you have more exploding enemies that fall down just trick them into falling. You will need to use the Rush Coil to get to the ladder. The next room has a lot of bomb enemies and spikes so time your jumps carefully. For the longer spike crossings you will need to use Rush Jet to get across. The next rooms have the same enemies as the last room so just deal with them in the usual way. Now you have the disappearing blocks to deal with. Now you have the dark man boss fight. Dark Man is really easy just use the wave weapon to dispose of him quickly. The stage is not too difficult and the boss is easy. So that is why it gets a 3/10

Proto Man stage Two (difficulty 3/10)
The stage starts up with several ladders you want to take the second one from the left. The ones on the right are just trap ladders. Now you have to use Rush Coil to clear the huge wall in the way. You pretty much have just sphere enemies to deal with her. Now you fall down a shaft. Jump on the platforms and avoid the rolling enemies. You have platforms with rollers and death spikes. Carefully jump and climb the ladder. Next you have narrow spaces slide and destroy the Crystal Joes. Continue to slide and avoid spikes and that is pretty much how this stage works Now the Boss is dark man with an electric shield. He is not difficult he will move toward you but you can jump over him. Use the Crystal weapon to defeat him quickly. This stage just has a lot of dodging and avoiding spikes which if you are paying attention is not to hard to do. The boss Dark Man 2 is not hard at all he goes down quickly. The only thing is sometimes he can have a burst of speed.

Proto Man stage three (difficulty rating 6/10)
This stage starts off not to bad. Apache Joes and land mines are the only threats here use Gyro attack to clear the way. Now you find spinning platforms with one thing to notice the walls are covered with spikes. What you want to do is jump quickly to the next platforms or else you will get sent into the spikes. After that you have a room with gaps small platforms on the platforms is mets with cannons. Take the mets with cannons out, but watch out for the airborne enemies as they are numerous. Now you have what is the most aggravating thing in this stage. You have to jump on moving blocks that move over spikes and stuff, quickly and carefully jump to avoid the spikes. The next room has Power Muscles and shield enemies carefully take them out. Now you have another moving block segment  this time with spike dropping enemies.  Now you have Dark Man 3 has a bazooka and that is all he fires. Just use the Gyro attack to take him out quickly. The reason I give this stage a 6/10 is because of the moving blocks and spinning platforms that send you into the spikes if you are not careful. Dark Man 3 is so easy that I was expecting him to be hard after a difficult stage.

Proto Man Stage four (Difficulty Rating 5/10)
You start this stage having to shoot pillars holding the ceiling up. Chose which one you shoot carefully because each time brings the ceiling down. Carefully chose your spots and make your way to the top. Now you have reached what is thought to be Proto Man. The fake Proto Man looks at Mega Man and fires. However the real Proto Man destroys Dark Man 4's disguise revealing the truth. Proto Man never turned bad. Dr. Wily appears and lets everybody knows that he tried to frame Proto Man but the real one spoiled his plans and how he Kidnapped Dr. Light and challenges Mega Man to come and get him. Proto Man gives Mega Man a capsule to charge his energy. Now Dark Man has the previous ones attacks so this battle is tricky. The best thing to do is use Beat while you dodge the bosses shots. Beat will drain his energy. Be sure to keep your distance. I give the proto man stage 4 or should I say fake Proto Man stage a 5/10. It is so easy to shoot the wrong pillar and get crushed in the falling ceiling. The boss is somewhat tricky as he can fire several shots at once, uses a shield and the bazooka. Beat really makes this battle go in your favor. This stage is also short.

Now its time to go after Dr. Wily, seriously did you think Proto Man had turned evil. Dr. Wily here we go again.

Wily Stage one (difficulty 7/10)
This stage starts off with a long shaft of death spikes. Just maneuver your way to avoid landing on them. Then you have a tunnel nothing here accept for rollers and cannons. Now you have narrow tunnels with rolling platforms that you have to jump on to pass. Carefully, avoid jumping into spikes and dodge the throwing enemies. You have more of the same accept now you have roller enemies. After all that the stage does not get easier. Because now you have a ceiling that moves up and down and if you get caught under its platforms you get crushed. Then you have more tunnels. Finally you reached the boss. The boss is a totem like thing. When it launches its lower part dodge and jump on it, then jump again and shoot the top with charged shots. Be very quick it does it fast and tries to pelt you with Buster shots. Ugh, this stage was tough, the tunnels with narrow spikes is a pain, and then there is another tunnel with closer spikes. Then you have the boss who is quick and pelts you with bosses. What can I say this was a touch stage so it gets a 7/10

Wily Stage two (difficulty 7/10)
The first stage has tunnels and a few enemies but not too bad. Now you head underwater were you can jump high. You will find spikes and rollers with roller enemies on them so pick your jumps carefully. Come back out of the water got more tunnels one will cause you to use rush Jet. The boss on this stage is just strange. It is a sphere shaped boss and it opens up. Whatever you do not not jump on the platofmrs just jump and shoot it with charged buster shots. I give this stage a 7/10 because of the underwater spikes, the blasted tunnels is what drives this up. The sphere boss is erratic  at best

Wily Stage 3 (difficulty 6/10)
This stage is short. You have to have a rematch with all 8 of the bosses just deal with them the way you did before. After that you have the Wily Platform. Wily will try to crush you just dodge but be careful because in the middle of the room is death spikes. Just dodge and shoot Wily's Platform when he comes down. I give this a rating of 6/10 because of the rematch of the boss battles Dr. Wily can be tricky as it is sometimes hard to know where he will land

Wily Stage 4 (difficulty 9/10)
Wily Machine #5 starts this game off, It can be hard as he likes to ram you. What you want to do is shoot the skulls with the buster charged up. Now for a real battle. Dr. Wily will now use the disappearing move again. When he is visible he will shoot balls of energy at you a lot at once so this is going to require dodging on your part. To make the battle easier use BEAT. Difficulty is high on this. You will probably need Energy Tanks and the M tank. Wily Machine likes to shoot at you and ram you. Then there is Dr. Wily who likes to appear and disappear shooting plasma shots at you. He can catch you with all of his energy shots land on you. So yeah this was a hard battle.

Ending
The ending of this game is kind of nice. Dr. Wily begs as if he is saying I'm beat. Mega Man does not want none of it and rushes to capture Dr. Wily. Mega Man quickly frees Dr. Light. Dr. Wily activates the self destruct and the castle starts exploding. The ceiling collapses on Dr. Light and Mega Man. Mega Man catches it. It looks like the heroes are going to be crushed and finished after a hard thought victory. Suddenly Protoman comes in to save the day. He shoots the ceiling and creating a pathway so Mega Man and Dr. Light can escape. Wily by the way has already gotten into his UFO to escape. The heroes teleport out of the crumbling castle as they watch Dr. Wily escape letting the player know he will be back. Dr. Light, Mega Man and Proto Man look on knowing Wily is coming back.

Wow. Dang. That is very detailed, but despite the length, it is still clear and useful. How long did this take you to complete? I must say, very impressive. Awesome job on that walkthrough man!
