This is my first review, hope I do this right. Story The story is same as in original super Nintendo version, about 1000 years ago there was a war called "War of the Magi", when humans and espers (magical creatures) were fighting against each others. First they lived in harmony, but humans lust for power was too strong and they wanted to harness espers magical energies to them self. 1000 years have past and espers has been gone the whole time, until the Empire noticed that there is a frozen esper in a mining town called Narshe. Empire sended their best soldier Terra Branford and 2 other soldiers (Biggs and Wedge) to investigate this esper.... What will happen next? You will have to play the game to know more.... The story is very interesting because, when you start the game. You will get some interesting information about the games history and you want to know more, soo you have to play it more and more to get more knowledge. There isn't really any boring parts so where every you have to go, you will do it without any "daaaamn not this sh*t again, getting sick of this.:" attitude. Best part about the this game is that there is 14 playable characters AND everyone of them (expect 3) has their own side story, so you will be able to know more about their past and personal feelings, and what kind of persons they really are. SO there is a fantastic main story and very interesting side stories that makes this game one of the best Final Fantasies I have ever played. I will give 9, the reason why I didn't give 10 was that the ending was a little disappointment, but still a great game. Depth: There is be some spoilers here so read with care..... If you want to speed run this game, I believe it is possible to do less than 10 hours, but because there is lot of side quests and lot of espers hidden in the world. The reason why I like this Game boy Advance version more than the original is that there is 2 new dungeons hidden. First one is called the Dragon's Den, where you can fight those 8 dragons again, but they are more powerful than before and there are few more new bosses there, the best part about this dungeon is that you can find ultimate weapons for every character you have. And there is 4 new espers in this version too, so have fun finding them..? There is also the Coliseum where you can bet your equipments to win better stuff. And of course the Veldt where you can train one of your characters to become much stronger and greater asset to your team. And finally if you are those kind of people who wants to play games 100% there is Bestiary, when ever you beat a enemy/boss all information about it will go to the bestiary so you can later look what kind of items you can steal from it, it's weaknesses etc...I give 9/10. Because there could always be more you can do, but still there is enough things to do. Addictiveness: Hmmm... When I first time played this game, about 15 years ago, it was a love on the first sight. I played it about 4-5 hours a day. And when I finished it. It took about week or so and I started it again.And later when I bought Nintendo DS (about 4 years ago) I found a Final Fantasy VI Advance in a store so I bought it without a hesitation and I have to say there is still times when I just spent few days just playing this game and enjoying the story again and again. I don't think I will never get sick of this game. I will give 8/10 because I really don't play much video games anymore, expect these kind of games that makes you want to live the story over and over again. Graphics: So graphics... I have to say that they are so fricking awesome ! I really love that every single enemy is drawn so detailed and the background in battles are so nice... One of my favorite piece of art was that phantom forest (not sure about the name...) And all those special effects ( magic spells, summon magic's etc.) looks very nice. Overall I think Final Fantasy Vi had one of the coolest graphics compared to other super Nintendo games. There was not really any graphic changes when they remaked it on Game boy Advance. Only re-model/re-censored few sprites, and I think this is a good thing that they let the graphics alone.. (Really did not like what they did to this game when they remaked it on iOS...Gyrrrr !) I will give it 10/10 because I just love this game. Sound: Two words. NOBUO UEMATSU. One of the greatest video game composers in the whole world, I just love his music/sounds. In this game the battle music and the boss battle are just so great, you have to keep your TV's sound on, you just can't play this game without voice, you just can't sorry... I don't believe there are any annoying sounds or music that makes your head hurt....Don't really know what else I should tell about this.. 10/10 Mr. Uematsu forever. <3 Difficulty: When I played this game first time it was hard, really hard... I even lost to that first boss couple of times, there was a some of the bosses/enemies that gives you a hard time to beat them, but when you get hang of this game, there isn't really so many enemies that you just can't beat. The hardest thing about this game was to kill the 8 dragons, but nowadays they are pretty easy to conquer. But I believe this game will be very challenging to some people, like it was for me when I first time played it... So I will give it 6/10. Overall: Let's see... I believe the overall will be 8.6. The last words and thoughts or something like that... Hmmm..Well if you like to play fantasy games like Final Fantasies, I highly recommend to play this game at least one time, so you will know what I'm saying here..
