Bust a move 2 for the nintendo 64 was not one of the first games i played on the console, But it is a good one. I originally played bust a move 99. At first sight the game may not look very fun... But it's quite fun. I enjoy a lot of puzzle games such as this one. There's bright colors and stuff, Which make me..... wait for it....

deg2000: HAPPY Just had to do that. Sorry. Anyways, I enjoyed this game, But i never really beat it. Nice and pretty though. Even though i didn't beat it, and it practically cheated most of the time, I liked it. I still play it. I originally bought it at a pawn shop, After playing bust a move 99 for so long. I thought i would enjoy this one too. And i did enjoy it very much. Since i'm not too sure of what to say any further, I think i should continue on with the review. Please, I really want to.

Graphics:10. Graphics are a bit cartoony, But well... There's mostly cartoony games for the nintendo 64. Such as Legend of zelda ocarina of time, Star fox 64, Kirby 64 the crystal shards, And things like banjo kazooie and diddy kong racing. They're very bright colors, very pretty and stuff. Well made sprites and junk. Yknow? I mean, There not all that and a bag of chunky chocolate chip cookies, But it's good. Not extremely pixely and stuff, It's smooth. Smooth like SNES graphics, But a bit better. Really easy to look at and stuff.

I think i'm saying "And stuff" too much... But i really don't know what to say about it further... I've never really been one to judge graphics in videogames. So i'll continue with the review.

Sound:8. The sound is fairly nice, But the weird screamy sound effects might hurt your ears if you're using headphones. I use headphones often because my family is VERY LOUD LIKE THIS! ALWAYS YELLING IN ALL CAPS IMPACT FONT NO PUNCTUATIONBAD SPLELEING BRIGHT YELLOW FONT SIZE 15. So i have to turn it up REAALLLLLYY loud.

Sorry about that. On with the review.

Music:10. The music is pretty darn good. As i may or may not have stated in my other reviews, (You know i have ) I've grown fond of bouncy uplifting colorful music. And this is exactly what i want to see in a game. Bright happiness flowing into your brain. My house is really loud, I usually play them with headphones on. As i've already stated. And with the headphones, It's even better. You can hear all of the instruments they used to make the game (Unless it's all digital), And if you know how to play those instruments, You could play it yourself :3. Me myself, I don't know how to play any instruments. But i'm going to learn banjo soo enough. Just gotta work up the money.

On a side note, I would like to state that the game music isn't ALWAYS bouncy. There are times such as the final boss, When it gets rather dark. It's a nice counter balance in my opinion.

Addictiveness:10. Although the game cheats at the third round, And you'll lose a whole bunch of lives, You still have the urge to play it again to try and beat it. Over and over. Till death do this game stop working. Or something. I dunno. No sleep makes me go all wacko on reviews. May not make much sense. I only hope it turns out well.

The game is very addictive just like bust a move 99. The puzzle-ness, It captures your brain and doesn't let go. Like a klap trap or something.

Story: The story... Uhhhhhhh, I'm really not sure if there IS a story.. I know in the starting demo it shows these people stealing stars from the sky. So I'll just leave it N/A.

Depth:7. Not a lot to offer, Except for a rather long storyline for an arcade game. Or story mode or something. I don't know what to call it. Basically you shoot colorful bubbles at more colorful bubbles to pop the colorful bubbles. Pretty, Simple, But not a lot of things to do. Sure you could make all of the bubbles fall off of the screen, And you could just pop them, But that's pretty much all you do. But it's still fun...

Difficulty:10. Like i said, The 3rd level cheats like a rabid banana. (Don't ask me what that means) So it's pretty tough. From there on, it gets easier until you reach the dude with the scissors. Then the difficulty gets turned up to rabid banana again. So i'm gonna give it a 10.

So overall, We've got a pretty good game for the n64 era. Nice bouncy music and nice dark music, Some pretty smooth graphics, Extremely addictive, and extremely hard. You'll spend a lot of time fooling with this one. It's pretty fun and hard. Like sliding down a hill on a cardboard box, and accidentally falling off and stab your leg with a sharp rock. Nice and pleasant like that Hehe. I actually used to slide down a hill on a cardboard box when I was bored. I wouldn't have done that if I had this game at the time. Fun!. But at the time I had bust a move 99 which was good enough for me I suppose. I still prefer this music of the other music. The other music isn't as bouncy like this stuff is. Made from the best stuff on earth I suppose you could say. Darnit, Now I want a Snapple. I hate it when writing reviews makes me have cravings like that....

So be sure to have  A whole lot of fun with this game. If you don't there is something deeply wrong with you. No one could resist such a cute colorful game like this! NO ONE!

So yeah, I'm ending the review here.
