I try to go as many times as I can. Last year I went to the movies 22 times, and this year I plan to go even more, so I plan to go at least twice per month.

Im not entirely sure, if there is a movie we like and want to go see, we will go maybe once or maybe 2 times a month or every other month. There isn't a schedule or anything. If there is a good movie out that we want to see, we'll go. If there is nothing good out, we can always rent a movie on fios. So maybe 1-2 a month at max. We mostly go to movie co or marquis. Good question by the way.

I only go to see a movie in theatre's if it's a movie I've been waiting for, for a long time. Like a Marvel movie or a movie based off of a book I love. Last year I think I only went 3 or 4 times.

I don't mind watching movies in the theatre. It's a fun experience and I usually go with my brother and sister's and we make a day out of it.

I do not really like going unless it really is a good film. The last movie I saw there was Gravity. A film with some great potential and even then it was better than I thought. 
I usually just wait until the DVD but even then I don't watch them sometimes. I have one or two DVD's I have not even opened yet so I must watch them soon enough.

Well I can't really say I go to movies often but I do go to movies a nice few times a year!!

Well it depends what movies are on really..I might decide to go about 4 - 5 times a year if good films just happen to be out that year..but if no good films are out...well I tend to go about 1 - 2 times a year

I almost never go.
Typically, I prefer to avoid them because I don't like other people constantly talking, laughing, or almost always getting the tallest guy in the theater sitting right in front me. <<

I did however go last week because I really wanted to see a movie that was playing.

I used to go to the theatre a lot, about five years ago I with with my ex to see a twilight movie. It was one of the worst movie experiences I've ever been tortured with, and haven't been back to the movies since.

I used to go when I'm little but I'm just too lazy to go.

I really don't go to the movies anymore. I don't really like these modern movies, to be honest. I'm more retro. There's too much violence, or the movie is just uninteresting for its own good. But mostly the crack about the violence in the movies. I may be 16, but I care.

People go to the movies for the experience and some movies have to be seen on the big screen.  I avoid theaters because they're expensive.  I'm an adult so the cost of a ticket can be 10 dollars or more.  Popcorn and a pop is another 15 bucks or so and I spend a ton of movie when I can do something else with that cash.

I also don't care for most of the kids that watch movies.  They're noisy, they show off for each other, they text, they distract.  That's not for me.  I have a house with beer I can drink and popcorn that's paid for all ready and I don't have to go out for it.

If I do, it's an afternoon show.  I saw Hunger Games II the other day and it was nice and quiet with my wife and a few other people.

Lastly, movies aren't that good these days.  Everything is a reboot, a sequel, a prequel, and they don't do anything different.  I'm not into superheroes so that limits what I can watch.

well I don't go often the last movie I seen in theaters was Harry potter and Deathly Hallows part 2

I go about 24 times a year which isn't that much for me. Pop and popcorn are really expensive as well so We don't go there like every week.

I go to the movie to see good and quality movies but half of them weren't close to good in my opinion.

Going to the movies is very rare for me; usually, my boyfriend and I will sit at home and rent movies. It's cheaper and we can pause, if necessary!

EideticMemory : This is very sad, but I've only ever gone to the movies twice. Once I was about 4-6(?), and my aunt and uncle took me to watch "Cars". Next, the 2nd time was when I was 10-11, and my friend invited me to the movies. We watched "The Croods". So yeah, I've only been to the movies twice, but I want to go there more (stupid movie ticket prices).

Well, I only go to my local movie theaters once every few months, I would say. The reason why I do not go so very often is probably due to the fact that there are rarely any movies of my interest that are playing.

Usually something like every two or three months. We only go when there's a movie we're interested in, and that's been the case more often nowadays, what with all the superhero movies and The Hobbit.
