To be honest I'm not sure whether or not relinquish022 already reviewed

Lucario, seems likely. Anyways, even if he did I should re-educate and

enlighten you.
Ah Lucario, a fan favorite since 3rd gen. Yes, I know

he wasn't in Hoenn but he DID appear as a 4th gen Easter egg pokemon,

starring in Lucario: the Mystery of Mew. Well Lucario seems pretty

awesome. However in reality... HE'S A BAWSS!

Starting out as a Riolu, Riolu isn't as strong (duh) and it's a fighting type. However upon gaining a high level of friendship and understanding under the light of the sun BAM it's Lucario! Lucario is a fighting and steel type, lending immunity to poison and resistance to 8 types, but weakness to only 3. However those 3 are fairly common, so be on your toes. Abilities are Steadfast, raises speed if you ever flinch, Inner Focus, PREVENTS flinching, and hidden ability Justified, raises attack if hit by a dark type move. With that out of the way, time for the stats.
HP 70: Pretty average, nothing special.
Attack 110: SWEET CHRISTMAS that's a great stat!
Defense 70: Again, it's average, which is surprisingly low for a steel type.
Sp Attack 115: What's THIS? A fighting type with higher Sp Attack then Attack!? Well we'll get to that, so hold your Epona's.
Sp Defense 70: We get it, defense isn't your strong point...
Speed 90: I guess it's nice, Lucario strikes hard and fast before the opponent can make a move.
Total 525: Not as high as others, but trust me, Lucario has many redeeming factors.

Now this move list will be awkward... seeing as there's no definitive point where Lucario evolves I will show Riolu's movepoll first, all the way to level 50, and then talk about the moves you could have instead depending on when you evolve Riolu.
Lvl. 1 Foresight: It increases your accuracy as well as allowing ghost pokemon to be hit by normal and fighting attacks.
Lvl. 1 Quick Attack: Does 40 damage with 100 accuracy, always goes first.
Lvl. 1 Endure: If a move would have knocked you out you will hold on to 1 HP and survive.
Lvl. 6 Counter: This is a powerful move, if you get hit by a physical move you absorb the damage you took, double it, and unleash it upon your foe. It's powerful, but it only works if you were hit by a physical move.
Lvl. 11 Feint: I don't really get this move. I know it does 30 damage and 100 accuracy and can hit a foe using protect or detect, but it may be possible it only works if they used those moves. Then again I could be wrong, so go check for yourself. I still don't really recommend it though due to it's low power.
Lvl. 15 Force Palm: You strike the foe with 60x1.5 damage and 100 accuracy. There's a third of a chance you can paralyze the foe too.
Lvl. 24 Screech: Lowers defense twice, big whoop.
Lvl. 29 Reversal: More powerful depending on the amount of HP you have.
Now there's a big gap between now and the next 2 moves, if you haven't evolved by now you probably will during this period, also the moves you COULD learn as Lucario are good to have and add to your versatility.
Lvl. 47 Nasty Plot: We waited so long... and the move we get raises Sp Attack twice... crap.
Lvl. 50 Final Gambit: You sacrifice yourself to make the enemies HP equal to yours? Wow, that there is dedication.
Now for moves that you will have as Lucario
Lvl. 15 Power-up Punch: Does 40x1.5 damage and 100 accuracy, like the fighting equivalent of Bubble or Watergun or Ember etc. but every time you hit your attack will definitely raise.
Lvl. 19 Swords Dance: You raise Attack by two levels.
Lvl. 24 Metal Sound: You reduce the foes Sp Defense by 3 levels.
Lvl. 29 Bone Rush: I usually take it for extra range for taking on other types. It's a ground move that has 90 accuracy and hits 2-5 times, each hit with 25 damage.
Lvl. 33 Quick Guard: This move only works with priority moves like Quick Attack. If so... WHY NOT USE PROTECT?
Lvl. 37 Me First: If you go before the opponent you can use the move they were gonna use. It serves as a nice replacement to counter if you desire, the move only works with damaging moves and the move has higher damage than normal.
Lvl. 42: The following move was literally MEANT for Lucario. Wonder why it has such high Sp Attack? Aura Sphere is why. This move does 80x1.5 damage and is certain, meaning it always hits the target. There's actually another move that could replace it, but it's your decision.
Lvl. 47 Calm Mind: The supporting move for Aura Sphere, it raises Sp Attack and Sp Defense.
Lvl. 51 Heal Pulse: I never expected Lucario would know it, but he does... this move doesn't heal yourself, only allies.
Lvl. 55 Close Combat: This is the reason you could replace Aura Sphere with an upcoming move. It does 120 whopping damage and has 100 accuracy. This is your final strike, because unless you are planning to take down one foe and then switch with an ally your Defense AND Sp Defense lowers.
Lvl. 60 Dragon Pulse: Here's what could replace Aura Sphere. It does less damage, 85 without a type multiplier, and while it does 100 accuracy if your opponent is evasive or your accuracy is lowered it COULD miss. The redeeming factor is that you already have Close Combat and this would allow you to be a dragon type's worst nightmare.
Lvl. 65 Extreme Speed: The final move is Extreme Speed, a move that is even higher priority than other priority moves like quick attack. It also does 80 damage with 100 accuracy, quite the force to be reckoned with.

Now as for Tm's I can suggest a few that you'd like.
Tm15 Hyper Beam: Put that Sp Attack to use with this attack! 150 Damage and 90 accuracy. However you must rest the next turn.
Tm26 Earthquake: 100 damage and 100 accuracy, it can substitute Bone Rush if you were interested in a ground move.
Tm28 Dig: Instead of Earthquake you could hide from a big attack you see coming and THEN attack. 80 damage 100 accuracy.
Tm29 Psychic: Lucario can learn psychic... ermahgerd. 90 damage and 100 accuracy, you can also lower the foes Sp Defense.
Tm30 Shadow Ball: Yet another alternative 4th move, 80 damage and 100 accuracy.
Tm52 Focus Blast: This move replaces Close Combat in a heartbeat. 120x1.5 damage and only 70 accuracy, it doesn't lower your defensive stats though and may lower the enemy's Sp Defense.
Tm71 Stone Edge: Another alternative 4th move, 100 damage with a high critical ratio and 80 accuracy.
Tm84 Poison Jab: You have a chance of poisoning the enemy and you do 80 damage with 100 accuracy.
Tm91 Flash Cannon: 80x1.5 damage and 100 accuracy, may lower the foes Sp Defense
Tm97 Dark Pulse: 80 damage and 100 accuracy, may make the opponent flinch.

Well now for my recommendation. My Lucario would know either Close Combat of Focus Energy. Then he would know any of the Sp Attack moves other than fighting that we mentioned before. Also a physical move we have mentioned, or another Sp Attack move of different typing. Just get as much versatility as you can. Finally, learn Me First when you have a good chance to counter your enemy if they can dish it but can't take it. It would hold a Black Belt, increasing the power of super effective moves and fighting moves. Ev's are 252 each for Attack and Sp Attack, the remaining for Speed.

And that concludes our review of Lucario, thank you and goodnight.

Oh yeah, one last thing... it can MEGA EVOLVE.
You know that Lucario you can receive in the tower of mastery? It has lucarionite, and it's the only way to obtain the mega stone for Lucario. Upon evolving it will know the ability Adaptability, increasing the move type matching bonus from x1.5 to x2! Here are Mega Lucario's stats!
Hp 70
Attack 145
Defense 88
Sp Attack 140
Sp Defense 70
Speed 112
Total 625
Epic right? Well that finally concludes our review, I leave you with the picture.

Now this is what I call a review, you really must have put a lot of research into this one. I do like Lucario a lot, especially since we get to have one in X.
