I have faith that this won't pass... or at least if it does, won't work as they plan.

The great thing about the internet is that poor people who are usually powerless in the "real world" can have a lot of power on the internet. With groups like Anonymous, it's hard to make such a restrictive change without some opposition. Apart from the "little people", there are very big organizations, like Google, who in general will oppose such ideas.

I think there is enough resistance that it will be hard to pass something like this.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
