I was playing Star Fox 2 Beta again, but this time, a weird glitch got my attention.
I pressed select (?) to transform from walker mode to Aircraft mode, but for some reason,
the game changed my character (Fay) into Fox Mcloud!

Fay's ship changed into Fox's!, and now, whenever Fay talks, it shows Fox's pic in the text box!
The only way the you could tell that I was originally playing as fay, is by the the small pic of Fay
on the bottom of your screen on the Lylat system map.

How do I avoid this glitch? It's getting annoying!

I can't say i've encountered this problem myself but now it makes me want to see if I can duplicate the same problem when I have a chance to play. I've been busy with my college homework as of late so I haven't been doing much with Vizzed as of late which I should probably get on that. Anyways, i'll play it when I have some down time and see if I can make that happen for me. If and when I find a solution for this, you'll be the first to know.

Ok, here's the most consitent way to do it.

While you're in a base, transform into walker mode.

Hold down on the following buttons:

forward

left

R

the shoot button

Now, while you're holding all these down, press select,
to transform your Arwing. While transforming, let go of "left"
and (maybe) the shoot button.

You'r ship should transform.

That seems to be how I do it.
You can sometimes get your original character
back if you do the glitch enough times.

I ran into the same issue trying to record that one run for you guys. Wasn't sure how I pulled it off, and it kinda ticked me off that it happened because I love the fast charge.

Maybe... just don't hold as many buttons? o.o?
