The most boring and the most generic Pokémon that there is in the Pokémon universe would be Metapod because literally the only move that Metapod knows is Harden and which with that you can't even attack with that move so you have to use effort to switch it out with other Pokémon during battle or you could just use an EXP share but it is so boring and tedious to train to have to evolve so really it is the most boring Pokémon that there is.

Pidgy is... well A BIRD!

Rattata isnt the first normal pokemon pidgy is!

Pidgy is NORMAL/FLYING

LukinaX : So are you calling pidgy the most boring and/ or the most generic Pokemon because if so I would have to disagree with you because at times pidgy is awesome because it can freaking fly. I would like to see metapod do anything besides harden.

I caught a shiny pidgy and named it pidrone.

To me pidgy is Generic not THAT boring* but generic

relinquish022 : Rattata is the most obvious answer. I don't get how Youngster Joey thinks that his own Rattata is in the TOP PERCENTAGE OF RATTATA'S. Ah Joey, how we will always laugh at your Rattata.

I have to say Pikachu. I mean, it's a yellow mouse that was originally fat, and now it evolved into a yellow peanut! Need I say more?

For me two come to mind. Ditto and Magikarp. Ditto because well... have you seen it? Ditto is a literal "it". Magikarp because its a fish. Plain and simple. A fish!

Probably about 96.75% of normal types. Never really been a huge fan of them... 

Probably for me is Jigglypuff. I mean The pokemon is unique with only one thing going for it. and That in my opinion is just the balloon shaped design of it.


And the main reason I'm saying this is simply because:

Most of it's special moves are very weak and boring. Heck: Jiggly wasn't even fun to play in super smash brothers either. I mean come on, It sings puts others to sleep, does a weak slap, and put's it's self to sleep from time to time. 

I mean it's Like game freak just went out with ideas and said: "Hey let's make someone similar to kirby, Make it weaker, and change the special moves."


BluemageKyle : Yeah pikachu is pretty overrated, but at least that pokemon has it's fair share of unique and powerful aspects.

I think the new pokemon klefki is really boring and generic. Basically anything that is based on normal everyday things or objects that people use, I think that it just not creative, klefki is just a pair of keys with a  face on it, stuff like that and vanillish, garbodor, that stuff just isn't creative to me, it is rather boring and generic and I think pokemon just got desperate when they made those pokemon. 

I agree some of the normal types are pretty ridiculous. But klefki is a steel and fairy type and I just find its overall look to be very un creative. 

To me, Rattata, Ekans, Pikachu, Seel, Magikarp, and Muk are too generic.

Rattata is just a rat. Only with a funky name. Ekans is literally a snake. Pikachu is an electric mouse (which isn't bad). Seel, is literally a seal, with one less 'a' and an extra 'e'. Magikarp is only a fish that flops around. And Muk is literally a big pile of goo.

     The most boring pokemon is spinda. I like pokemon that has a variety of designs to choose from(like furfrou or pumpkaboo). But, the variety designs in spinda is basically putting random dots on a pokemon, and we got 8,589,934,592 forms. Good job Game Freak. 

The most generic and boring pokemon in my opinion is Geodude because it is a rock with arms and eyes.
 
 

Well I am going to go with Psyduck ... an orange duck ... with hiar. That always has a head ache. Yeah not feeling that one.

I think that Rattata is the most boring and generic Pokemon ever. I mean to have a Pokemon be the most boring and generic Pokemon ever, they need to:
be a normal type, done
be weak, done
look like an animal, done
not know any good moves, done
And who has all of these? Rattata does.

For me it is psyduck now he is boring
