Hello Vizzed users! I am tgags123, the creator of this hack, Pokemon Aquamarine. I was asked if I could make a list of Pokemon locations, but by route not by Pokemon. I am going to do one better. I am going to make a walkthrough. I can guarantee that this walkthrough is accurate because, well, I made the hack! I may or may not break it up into parts. I am not sure yet. Anyway, I hope this will help you. It will be very long and boring, so sorry about that in advanced.

1. Introduction

Littleroot Town

You start off in Littleroot Town, and arrive in the moving truck. Apparently putting children in with the furniture is acceptable in the Pokemon world, because that is where you are. You arrive in Littleroot Town and hop out of the truck. Your mom will give you a little intro and tell you to go do stuff in your room. Go into your room and set the clock. If you check the computer and go to "Withdraw items" you can get a free potion. If you chose a male character, you will notice that there is a single patch of grass in the corner. That patch of grass has level 2 through 4 Pikachus and Eevees in it, so do not walk into it until you have a Pokemon. Once you have set the clock and taken your potion, you can go back downstairs. Your mom will call you over to the TV. She will then tell you to go next door. Go next door. Your friend's mom will talk to you and tell you to go upstairs. Go upstairs and walk up to the Pokeball in the middle of the room. Click "A". Your friend, either May or Brandon, will come in. They will talk to you for a bit. After that you will go north of Littleroot Town. When you try to exit the city a girl will ask you to investigate. You will go out and see Professor Birch being chased by a wild Pokemon. He will tell you to choose a Pokemon and save him. This is where you get to pick your starter.

Starters:

Bulbasaur - Grass and Poison
Base Stats:
HP - 45
Attack - 49
Defense - 49
Sp. Atk. - 65
Sp. Def. - 65
Speed - 45
Total - 318
If you choose Bulbasaur, your rival will choose Torchic.

Charmander - Fire
Base Stats:
HP - 39
Attack - 52
Defense - 43
Sp. Atk. - 60
Sp. Def. - 50
Speed - 65
Total - 309
If you choose Charmander, your rival will choose Mudkip.

Squirtle - Water
Base Stats:
HP - 44
Attack - 48
Defense - 65
Sp. Atk. - 50
Sp. Def. - 64
Speed - 43
Total - 314
If you choose Squirtle, your rival will choose Treecko.

After you choose your starter, you will battle the Pokemon, either Zigzagoon or Poochyena, that is chasing the Professor. After you beat it, you will go back to his lab. He will give you the Pokemon that you chose as a thank you gift for rescuing him. All of the starters are holding a Liechi Berry, so be sure to take that from your Pokemon as soon as possible. He will then ask if you think it is a good idea to see May (from now on I will refer to your rival as May to make it easier, even though it will be Brendan if your character is a girl). You should probably just say yes, because it will not let you choose no. You can then leave his lab and head up to Route 101.

Route 101

Pokemon found on Route 101:

Grass:
Wurmple level 2-3
Poochyena level 2-3
Zigzagoon level 2-3
Pidgey level 2-3

You will travel north through Route 101 until you reach Oldale Town.

Oldale Town

There is a Pokemon Center in Oldale Town that you can use to heal your Pokemon. There is also a Pokemart.

Pokemart items:
Pokeball (after beating May)
Potion
Antidote
Paralyz Heal
Awakening

You can stop in Oldale Town to rest your Pokemon or grab some items if you need to. When you are ready to go, keep heading north up to Route 103.

Route 103

Pokemon found in Route 103:

Grass:
Poochyena level 2-4
Wingull level 2-4
Zigzagoon level 3-4
Ledyba level 3-4

Water (Surfing):

Wingull level 10-30
Pelipper level 25-30

Water (Fishing):
Magikarp level 5-30
Tentacool level 5-30
Wailmer level 10-45
Sharpedo level 30-35

Go as far north as it will allow you and you will see your rival. Walk up to them and talk to them to start your very first trainer battle! It should be pretty easy to win. If your health starts to get low, remember that you have that free potion that you got from your room in the beginning of the game. After you win, they will head back to the lab in Littleroot Town. Follow them to the lab. Once you enter the lab, it will walk up to Professor Birch for you. He will then give you the Pokedex. May will also give you 5 Pokeballs. Not only do you get some Pokeballs for free, but you can now buy them in the Pokemarts. Once May is done talking to you, leave the lab. Start heading north and you will see your mom. She will give you the running shoes. The running shoes are very helpful because you can go a lot faster. Just hold down the "B" button to use them. Congratulations! You have passed the introduction and are now on your way to be a Pokemon master!

2. Your Journey Begins!

You can now head north through Route 101 and into Oldale Town. On the left you will see an opening. If you tried to go through there before, it wouldn't let you. But now it will. This will lead you into Route 102.

The gym in Petalburg City is a normal type gym, but you cannot challenge it just yet. If you enter the gym, you will see your dad. He will talk to you. While you are talking, a boy named Wally will come in asking about catching wild Pokemon. Your dad will give Wally a Zigzagoon and you will go out and help him catch a Ralts. When you return to the gym, your dad will tell you to head to Rustboro and challenge the gym there. He says that when you are stronger you can challenge him. Leave the gym and head to the left. You will then enter Route 104.

Wingull level 4-5

Water (Surfing):
Wingull level 10-30

You can head right through Route 104 and head north into Petalburg Woods.

Wurmple level 5-6
Shroomish level 5-6
Mankey level 5-6

Fire and flying types would really come in handy. You may also want to stock up on Antidotes. You will keep heading north until you hit the exit. That will bring you out to the continuation of Route 104.

Route 104 (Again)

For a list of Pokemon found on Route 104, please look at the list above.

Head to the right. You will need to battle some trainers. Cross the bridge to the north. Keep heading straight up and you will reach the city that your dad was telling you about. Rustboro City.

Rustboro City

Rustboro City has a Pokemon Center, a Pokemart, and a gym. It also has important buildings in it such as the Cutter's House and the Devon Corporation.

Pokemart items:

The Rustboro City Gym is the first gym that you will face. The gym leader, Roxanne, uses Rock type Pokemon. Using Water, Grass, or Fighting type moves will give you and advantage.

Roxanne's Team:

Geodude level 12
Geodude level 12
Nosepass level 15

If you beat Roxanne she will give you the Stone Badge and TM 39 Rock Tomb.

After you beat Roxanne, go to the house to the left of the Pokemon Center. This is the Cutter's House. If you talk to the man he will give you HM 01 Cut. This allows you to cut down small trees and get to new places. After you get cut, head to the north of Rustboro and then turn right. A man will say something to you about someone stealing something from him. If you keep going to the right, you will end up at Route 116.

Route 116

Pokemon found in Route 116:

Grass:
Poochyena level 6-8
Whismur level 6
Nincada level 6-7
Abra level 7
Taillow level 6-8
Skitty level 7-8

Keep heading to the right. Eventually you will find a cave entrance. That is the entrance to Rusturf Tunnel. An old man will tell you that someone stole his Pokemon. Enter Rusturf Tunnel.

Rusturf Tunnel

If you head into Rusturf Tunnel and then turn right, you will see a Team Aqua Grunt with a Wingull next to him. Walk up to him and challenge him to a battle. He should be very easy to defeat. You will get the stolen items back from him and the old man's Wingull. The old man will thank you for saving his Wingull and will now sail you to different places on his boat. Take the Devon Goods back and the man will thank you and take you up to see the president. The president will give you the Pokenav and also the letter. You need to deliver the letter to Steven in Dewford Town. Head back through Route 104 and the Petalburg Woods. Once you exit the Petalburg Woods, go to the little house that is just south of the entrance to the woods. If you go inside, you will see the man and his Wingull. If you talk to the man he will offer to take you to Dewford Town. Say yes and set sail for Dewford!

Dewford Town

Pokemon found in Dewford Town:

Grass:
Sandshrew level 6-10
Meditite level 7-10

Fishing:
Magikarp level 5-30

Dewford Town has a Pokemon Center, and a gym. There is no Pokemart. You can also get the Old Rod here by talking to the fisher man standing outside on the right of the gym.

The Dewford Town gym is the second gym that you will face. The leader, Brawly, uses mainly Fighting type Pokemon as you could probably infer from his name. If you use Flying or Psychic type Pokemon, this gym will be a breeze.

Brawly's Team:

Machop level 16
Meditite level 16
Makuhita level 19

If you defeat Brawly you will get the Knuckle Badge and TM 08 Bulk Up.

After you beat your second gym, go to the north of Dewford Town and turn left. There will be a cave that you need to enter.

For a list of Pokemon found on the second floor of Granite Cave, look above.

Go to the right and go up the ladder, back to the first floor.

For a list of Pokemon found on the first floor of Granite Cave, look above.

Makuhita level 6-10

Once you enter the little chamber thingy you will see a man. That man is Steven. Talk to him to give him the letter. As a thank you gift, he will give you the TM Steel Wing. Exit the little chamber thingy and go down the slopes on the right. Continue to the right and exit Granite Cave. Go back down to Dewford Town and talk to the old man. He will offer to take you either back to Rustboro City or to Slateport City. If you go back to Rustboro City, you can go to the Devon Corporation building and talk to the president. He will give you an EXP Share. If you do not want to go all the way back to get the EXP Share, then choose to go to Slateport. You will set sail for a new location to get further into your journey!

When you head into Slateport City you will notice that their are Team Aqua members crowding around the museum. There are also Team Aqua members blocking you from going north. What you need to do is to talk to a guy in the ship building place. He will tell you that you need to find Capt. Stern. When you go to the museum, the Team Aqua members will not be crowding outside of it. Go into the museum and you will see where they all went. If you go to the top floor you will find Capt. Stern. Two Team Aqua Grunts will challenge you to a battle. You will need to defeat them. One of the "higher ups" of Team Aqua will arrive and talk and stuff. Then Team Aqua will leave. As you are exiting the museum, you can get a TM if you talk to the Team Aqua Grunt by the exit. Next you will go to the north of the city on to Route 110.

Route 110

List of Pokemon found on Route 110:

Grass:
Poochyena level 12

Minun level 13
Oddish level 13

Wingull level 10-30
Pelipper level 25-30

Fishing:
Magikarp level 5-30
Tentacool level 5-30
Wailmer level 10-45

Route 110 is a very big route. The Cycling Road is located here, and so is the Trick House.

If you do not have a bicycle (which you cannot get at this point in the game), then you must take the grass-filled path located under the Cycling Road. You may need a bunch of Potions and Paralyz Heals to get through it. To make it even harder, May is sitting in the middle of it waiting to battle you. It may take a few tries, but when you finally beat her, she will give you the Itemfinder. It is a pretty cool item, but isn't that helpful. It lets you see hidden items in the grass. When you finally manage to get through this tough route, you will end up at Mauville City, the center of the Hoenn Region.

Mauville City

Mauville City plays a big role in this game. It is a city that is located in the heart of Hoenn, and you will visit it multiple times. There is a Pokemon Center, a Pokemart, and a gym in this city. The Game Corner and Bicycle Shop are also located in this city.

Pokemart items:
Pokeball
Great Ball
Super Potion
Antidote
Paralyz Heal
Awakening
X Speed
X Attack
X Defend
Guard Spec.
Dire Hit
X Accuracy

When you enter Mauville City, you are going to want to head left towards the gym. You will see Wally, the boy that you helped catch a Ralts, standing in front of it. Talk to him and then he will challenge you to a battle. He is very easy to beat. Once you beat him, you can challenge the gym.

The Mauville Gym is headed by the Electric type gym leader Wattson. It would be smart to use ground type Pokemon against him.

Wattson's Team:

Voltorb level 20
Electrike level 20
Magneton level 22
Manectric level 24

It will most likely take you a couple of tries to beat him, but when you do, he will reward you with the Dynamo Badge and TM 34 Shock Wave.

After you beat Wattson, you may want to stop by the bike shop and grab a bike. You can get one fore free and you have a choice between the Mach Bike and the Acro Bike. Both bikes are useful in different situations, and you can always go back and change it later. Next you are going to go to the house at the bottom right of Mauville City. If you talk to the guy in the house, he will give you the HM Rock Smash. This will allow you to break rocks that may be lying in your way and blocking you from getting to certain places. Next you are going to go up north from Mauville. Keep going up as far as you can. You will need to use Rock Smash to smash some rocks. Keep going up and you will enter Route 111.

Route 111

I will not give you a list of Pokemon yet. All of the Pokemon in Route 111 are in the desert, which you cannot enter yet.

Keep going up as far as you can. Turn left and you will enter Route 112

Route 112

Pokemon found on Route 112:

Grass:
Numel level 15-16
Marill level 14-15
Torchic level 14-16
Growlithe level 14, 16
Chansey level 16

Keep going to the left and then climb up. You will see an entrance to a cave. That cave is Fiery Path.

I am probably boring you to death, and I know that I am getting bored of writing this, so I will stop for now. I will continue this later, but I do not know when I will have the next part out. Thank you for reading! Please leave any feedback, whether it is positive or negative! If you have any questions, please ask! Anyone have any suggestions for me? Maybe suggestions to make it less boring or more helpful or something? I would really like everyone's opinion.

Thank you so much!

Grass:

Whismur level 6
Nincada level 6-7
Abra level 7
Taillow level 6-8

Keep heading to the right. Eventually you will find a cave entrance. That is the entrance to Rusturf Tunnel. An old man will tell you that someone stole his Pokemon. Enter Rusturf Tunnel.

List of Pokemon found on the second floor of Granite Cave:

Cave Floor:
Zubat level 9-10

For a list of Pokemon found on the second floor of Granite Cave, look above.

Go to the right and go up the ladder, back to the first floor.

For a list of Pokemon found on the first floor of Granite Cave, look above.

Wild Pokemon found in the little chamber thingy in Granite Cave:

Cave floor:
Zubat level 7-8
Makuhita level 6-10
Abra level 8
Aron level 7-8

Slateport City has a Pokemon Center and a Pokemart, but no gym. There is also the Slateport Market in addition to the regular Pokemart.

Electrike level 12-13
Gulpin level 12-13
Minun level 13
Oddish level 13
Wingull level 12
Plusle level 12-13

Water (Surfing):
Tentacool level 5-35
