I’ve heard a few people say it’s stupid to play games on the board when they can just be downloaded and played on your computer instead of in the browser - I agree in some ways and disagree in other ways. I will go over the pros of playing it in the browser, and also the cons.

Pros:

-Finding the game you’re looking for is quicker:
You can use the built in search engine or use one of the many ways available to search for the game

-You have access to the games everywhere:
Whether you’re at work, school, friend’s house, etc – you always have access to play all the games as long as you’ve got an internet access and a computer

-You have access to your save files everywhere:
Just like the above pro, you can always load your save files, no matter where your playing

-Discovering new games could never be easier:
If you’re in search of a new game, it’s easy to find the perfect game. There are screenshots for almost every game as well as box art, descriptions for most and also other additional specs. Plus you can find good games based on how many times they’ve been played by other users, the ratings other users made, comments and reviews made by other users.

-Discuss your favorite games with other users and rate or review your game:
Many games have users discussing the games in the chat area. You can also give your input on each game as well as review or rate each game. On top of that, every game you play is placed into your profile (until you sell it) so you’ll always be able to see what games you’ve played and what your favorites are and you can see what other people like and what their favorites are.

-Take a screenshot and it’s available on the internet instantly:
Some of the game systems support taking screenshots and it’s simple to do and the image becomes available instantly and can be used to show other people on the internet. Plus you can give your pictures a description which makes the picture available on the games page for others to see and you can see pictures others took

-Compete for high scores:
Although a feature recently implemented, you can take a screenshot of your high score and have your score submitted to a high score table which allows users to compete with other users for high scores. Only a few systems supported.

-Cheats, tips, tricks and game genie right in front of you:
Although this may not matter for some, for others that do like to cheat or like the tips, some games have this right there for you.

-Don't have to bother loading up the emulator:
It's pretty quick and simple to play a game, just click to play and that's it.

-Safe and quick:
Don't have to bother finding a website to download your game or risk getting viruses

-See who else is playing what:
See what else others are playing and see who is also playing what your playing.

Cons:
-Having to pay Viz to play the games
-Compatibility is lower for online emulators and usually have more problems
-Less features with online emulators

Vizzed Board offers free games when we have them.

That's true for using emulators on your hard drive too though.

So not really a pro for Vizzed there.

That's a pretty big con I forgot to add.

That and quality matters is pretty much the whole reason I download games/movies instead of playing online/streaming them.

I like to know that I can play/watch even if my internet or the sites internet dies.

Exactly as I do, I prefer to download myself as then I have full control over the software / save states and I can play / watch whether I'm online or not.
Thats a con there as DM said, if Vizzed went down for any period of time then I would have to wait for it to come back up.
Another con that is more likely though is that someone could lose their internet connection and be unable to connect to Vizzed, thats when the game being on the HDD would be a better thing for them.

Ok now time for some positive thinking, lets think of some more Pros

Con:
Whenever I play one of the games, if a window pops up such as a Steam window saying that "X Has Logged In", it lags the s*** out of my computer.

You forgot to include this one.

Con: Vizzed is and will be limited to cartridge based games. That means that ISO's will not be up anytime soon. So if you want to play PSX or Dreamcast or any other game that plays with a disc etc... better off downloading them.

ITS AGAINST THE LAW TO PLAY GAMES HERE!? I thought only playing it on emulators was against the law! Does this mean I have to stop playing these games? No matter how hard you try not to get me in trouble,I might not go to heaven when I die! T_T

No one is going to get into trouble for playing any of these games nor does God care.

If anyone is going to hell RedMage, it will be the people who try to milk the innocent and weak of money because they played a simple game.

Con: saved games don't always work properly. Lots of time spent playing gets lost. I don't have that issue with an emulator on my own computer.

cuz bizzed board had lots of computer games that i never played since i was a kid, specially i can save lots of games and save all my game status every time i stoped playung or resting my eyes. hehehe.

No one will do anything to you if you play games here, not will anyone do anything to you if you download roms. Would you get kicked out of heaven for a little jaywalking? Nope, and neither would you for this.

So let me get this right.
Nobody would care if I just looked and said "Hey look a Dawn Of Souls ROM!...but I don't have it..Ah what the heck!" and downloaded it? *Please don't just lie to me and say nobody would care just because im going to Get-Your-Rom.com*

Btw,I will make a fair promise.
I will only use three ROMs that I don't have
But if there are games online that I don't have to download (Like the nice ol' Vizzed Board) then I will play them all.
