Welcome welcome welcome to the pokemon reviews,now since its the month of October i am going to review a Pokemon that used to scare the crap out of me when i was a kid,who can guess what it is...?

Frieza: RELINQUISHED

Relinquish: That's Yu-Gi-Oh Frieza not Pokemon...

Its Beedrill alright people its beedrill,this thing scared me more than the butterfly close up on Spongebob...memories...anyway enough of my deep dark and tormented psyche,its time to look at weedle...then i can get to beedrill


Moveset

At the start this thing will only have poison sting and string shot...i don't even need to tell you why this is bad...

Alright fast forward to 6 levels and we get Kakuna at level 7...well at least its defense is okay

Harden,7: Really....really...this move increases your defense by one stage,decent

FAST FORWARD TO 3 LEVELS AND WE GET BEEDRILL,sorry i don't have much to work with,this pokemon does not learn alot of moves until it gets to Beedrill

Fury attack,10: FINALLY we get something useful,...oh wait i hate moves like this,SHI- I MEAN CRAP,anyway enough jokes that are trying to hard,this move has a base attack damage of 15 and has 85% accuracy,finally lets get to the thing i hate the most about this move,it hits 2-5 times,i really hate moves like this but screw it that's all we got 

Focus energy,13: No..If you get this move when i die i will haunt you for eternity,i will drive you insane in the living and in death

Twin Needle,16: *bangs head on desk*,ONCE AGAIN,this move has a base attack damage of 20 and hits 2-5 times,also this move has a 20% chance of poisoning the target,even though i hate moves like this i will admit this is better than fury attack,besides since this move hits 2-5 times its assured that you will at least have a base attack damage of 40 which is decent,and still remember that's MInimum damage it can go further than that

Rage,19: This move has a base attack damage of 20 and has 100% accuracy,this moves damage will increase every time the user is hit,it can reach a maximum attack damage of 100,this move is actually okay but it is a bit risky so i don't recommend it 

Pursuit,22:this move has a base attack damage of 40 and has 100% accuracy,also this move will attack the target first if the target switches out there pokemon-

Death the kid: Woah you finally got it right...

Relinquish: yeah that's what she said now piss off until i summon you for another gag 

Anyway this is a decent move but i have to admit that twin needle is better so,...i guess you should take it but it is not a priority 

Pin missle,28: pin missle is the exact same thing as fury attack except that it has a base attack damage of 14...its weaker and this is one of the weakest moves in this Pokemon's set,don't take it

Agility,31:This move raises the users speed by 2 stages,this is a great move but once again it is risky especially with a Pokemon as weak as this one,so take it if you want but i don't recommend it,but its not because of the move its because of the Pokemon 

Assurance,34:This dark type move has a base attack damage of 50 and has 100% accuracy,also this move will deal double damage (100) if the user has been damaged in the same turn they used this move,good move take it 

Poison jab,37:This is BY FAR BEEDRILLS BEST MOVE,this move has a base attack damage of 80 and has 100% accuracy and has a 30% chance of poisoning the target,this is Beedrills best move so take it please

Endeavor,40:This move causes the targets HP to become equal to the users HP,this is a kind of odd move but...take it if you want


Stats

Hp,65:This is uh...pretty bad but hey at least its not to the point where you die in one hit so be happy because this could get ALOT worse 

Attack & Special defense,80,: These are actually pretty decent stats,i mean once again they are rather low but screw it at least it does not get to the point where you will never notice these stats taking effect

Defense,40; oh my god...this is terrible this is awful,i can't really say much about it this stat is just awful 

Special attack,45: This stat is bad but hey at least its justified,this Pokemon has nearly NO special attack moves in its set so...it sucks but hey at least there's a reason for it to be bad

Speed,75: Alright finally something we can work with,this is actually a good stat in fact in my opinion its the only stat Beedrill has that's,i am not kidding if you EV train this Pokemon to focus on speed you will have a fast moving killing machine 

As for leveling,this is actually a pretty easy Pokemon to level after you evolve it to a Beedrill,so you should not have to much trouble

Alright these things weaknesses are...very common sadly,those are flying rock fire and psychic,3 of those are actually pretty common but there is always a way to beat them,common threats have common weaknesses its all just a triangle,so if you can find some weaknesses for those weaknesses good for you,if you cant...you pretty much screwed

Poison Jab:This move will be your main attack move,it will be your main attack move because it does the most damage out of everything in this set,and its power is boosted because of Beedrill's Decent attack stat,and to take it even further it has a chance to poison the target

X scissor:This move is here for any old random reason,really the only reason i put it here is because i faced alot of grass type Pokemon i my testing,also you can get rid of this move and replace it if you want i don't care

U turn: This move is here for when you need to get out, plus it will actually do damage,plus Beedrill speed is good enough so that this move will almost always hit first so you can retreat easily

Swagger:This move is here to put the target off balance,its just used to confuse them so you can pummel them with no remorse,use this sparingly you don't want to give the target a major attack boost 

As always if you guys have a set or just some ideas,just tell me,but don't brag about it 

Gyms Rivals and Elite 4

Gyms: Yeah this thing is pretty bad in gyms,i mean REALLY REALLY bad your going to die alot i am just going to tell you now so if your planning to take this thing to gyms PLEASE have a good back up team, AND USE U-TURN

Rival : Despite everything i have just said...this thing is pretty good against your rival,i know i am shocked to,granted this thing is not the best Pokemon to take on your rival with but hey its still effective, but i must tell you that its going to get harder for you to win as you progress

Trainers: guess what..trainers are actually a challenge sometimes, i swear to god this pokemon is that hard to use,the things i have said about trainers are gone now because guess what they can take you out,granted its not going to be that big of a threat but please be on guard and do not underestimate them,also this thing is going to die in victory road...

Elite 4:This thing blows at the elite 4,its dead weight there are so many other bug types you can take there so don't even bother with this thing,


Tips

1.If you give this Pokemon a healing item give it an item that heals alot of health in 1 burst not something that heals slowly over time.

2.Despite everything i have said this Pokemon can be effective if you Ev train it,all you have to do is focus on speed and attack,after your training is complete give it an item,and give it a good set,this will give the Pokemon a rogue like feel because it can hit fast and hard but die very quickly

Final thoughts: THIS POKEMON BLOWS,....but really what did you expect!,its a bug type and these guys do not have a good reputation,adn most of them really suck,still there are a few that come through the cracks,sadly this guy is not one of them,it has a mediocre moveset,decent stats considering how little points it has to spend, a really bad amount of weaknesses,a pretty decent amount of tms and hms,and its really bad against the a.i,all in all his Pokemon is pretty bad but it is not the worst bug type i have reviewed (spinirak) still i am not going to give this Pokemon a pass,but i will tell you guys to stop picking on this pokemon because it does not deserve it,there are a ton of other pokemon that deserve to be hated on and i will admit this pokemon has gotten better overtime,so really i cant recommend it so...not really much i can say except its a pretty bad Pokemon and i don't recommend it

Fun fact: Even though i work at Blizzard entertainment i have to admit Guild wars 2 is pretty awesome
