That has never happened to me. Then again, the transportation that can mess up my day is the bus to school, but even though I can be late, it's not a big deal for me.

When I rode a school bus, there was no problem because my excues for being late was backed up by the bus driver.

Well I just got a car, and the traffic is awful. Yes, transportation has messed up my day. I'm always late to my destination. It's super annoying. I own a Chevrolet by the way.

Nope I usually take a bus to school (which has never let me down) or I just walk to places that I need to go. Yet transportation has upset my mom though, her car broke down in the driveway when she was heading to work so she had to wait for a day until it was done with repair.

zanderlex : Yeah, it was a school bus. That's why it was no big deal if I was late. Other than that, transportation does not mess my day up, and I rarely have transportation in my area except the bus and cars.

PixelBrick : At least you have a car, I am kind of scared of driving (and gas prices.), so I don't think I will ever get a car. I am just going to stick with the buses and trains for the rest of my life.

Yeah I usually take a bus to school every day and I never miss it, I am always there with adequate time. That is just for school though. Other than that, I have been in a few wrecks before that made my parents upset, but I think that is normal for everyone though. 

In general though, traffic just gets on my nerves, I hate being in it, I can be stuck in it for hours and I takes forever to go anywhere. So for the majority, regular traffic annoys me, but other than that, it doesn't really bother me that much. Good question though!

I remember taking the subway a very long time ago when I was little. Then it was under maintenance in the middle of the road and I was stuck in there for about almost 4 hours... And my phone lost charge too... It was horrible.

zanderlex : I would only do that if I lived in San Francisco. Do you live there? You could just ride the cargo train

But seriously, riding the cargo train is fun.

No, I just walk when going to school, lol. I don't really mind the traffic when I'm going somewhere else, I always leave early enough not to be late no matter what happens with the traffic when I'm commuting.

Yeah back in the day -- I used to go to this probation school and I took the bus and I was late. My probation officer didn't like that. She had the DPOs for whatever reason strip search me like was in jail before I was able to enter the building for school.

Buses suck.

I have one story about public transportation I guess I could share, sure.

So, I didn't have a car, and I walked to the grocery store. Simple, right? NO. After I came out, there was a giant jam of traffic towards my area due to an accident, and walking back that way probably wouldn't be the best idea. The other way you could go to my house, the shortcut, was free and not cumbersome at all. So, I took a bus.

Wrong choice.

The bus route was supposed to go for the shortcut, but they headed straight into, guess what, the accident area. We stood there for literally three hours, with me sitting next to a sweaty fat kid who wouldn't be quiet. By the time I got home, the eggs were cracked and the milk was warm. I told my parents I would never, EVER, walk to the store again on a weekend.

Often. Since attending college halfway across the country from my home, I have to either bike (up and down hills) or take the transit (which is never truly accurate). This means that the large majority of the time, I try to avoid events farther away, due to the unpredictable time-table I would have to create... when I have to use it, it messes with my head something awful.

Sure. I have missed the bus or the tram once or twice a month.

Yeah, when I was younger, I had to rely on public transportation and that was a pain in the you know where, like the waiting time you're waiting for the bus and by that time, you'll be done with what you want done, that is the only reason why I rely on me driving to my destination more than using public transportation.

zanderlex : OMG YES! Especially in Hawaii. We are one of the Top Rated Public Transportation in America. But being that it is, doesn't mean that is the best at all times. No, its not actually. Sometimes its so bad it takes an hour to get somewhere that takes only 15 minutes. I hate road work. Especially when your trying to go to or come from work. And we only have buses, and I don't think that the transit should go forward only because its a lot of money being spent on something no one will want to use. Its also an eyesore. Honestly, its going through crops and private fields to connect two places that take about 30 minutes to get to on a average day. 

But it is a good thing because most people in America have become so fat that they could just DRIVE RIGHT ON UP to their destination and enter, but with Buses, you have to walk from the bus stop to your destination MOST times. Exercise is good for the body no matter HOW lazy you are.

Yeah, that happened recently. I had just moved, so I hadn't been taking the bus to school. I was able to take the bus to school, but when I was coming home they wouldn't let me on the bus because I hadn't been registered to take the bus on the bus driver's computer. That was annoying.

No, because I go to school or somewhere without any transport, sure, if the distance is short.

But if the distance gets longer, well, my dad has a car by the way !
