First off, I would just like to thank Vizzed for having the game here. I just recently found out about it, like 4 days ago, and tried downloading it to no success. I would also like to thank the person and/or people behind the creation of this game.
 
Now lets get this review started!

Game play: I give this an 8/10. The game itself has a decent progress speed but I found a few bad spots in the game. For an example, lets look at Brock first. The very first gym leader. Now I know you want it to follow the anime, but if I recall correctly, Pikachu managed to beat Onix as well as Geodude in a first hit. Now the only way I see that possible is if Pikachu was at like level 20-25 when you challenge him, but since you leave viridian forest, there's no new trainers you can take on for fast easy EXP, so then you're stuck with training it in the forest, which just isn't happening. That would take way too long. Now lets look at Sabrina, the scary psychic type user. That Kadabra is a whole bunch of level 35 Overpoweredness. It took me a while to figure out how to beat her, but when I did, it was STILL a close battle. In the Anime, Haunter shows up in the middle of the battle, which doesn't happen on the game. Now I know you can't get everything exact and you still did a very good job for the game, but, I still think a few of the story lines in there could have been done better.
Now lets move on!

Story: There's nothing bad I can really say about the story. It's exactly like the anime. It even has a movie part in it which I enjoyed a lot. For Story, I give you a good 9/10. Fantastic job.

Difficulty: This deserves a 6/10. There were some hard parts in it, like Brock and Sabrina and such, but overall it was fairly easy.

Overall rating: *drumroll* 8.5/10. This game was absolutely fantastic. I enjoyed every minute of it. You have no idea how long I've been waiting for a game like this to exist! Again, I would like to thank Vizzed for having the game here and the Creator(s) for creating it.

On a personal rating, I give it a 10/10. I just loved everything about it. The grammar was flawless, the flow of the game had a challenge in it upon keeping to the Anime story line. The lines were PERFECT! I loved this game. I did however find one small thing that upset me. The game is unfinished. I go to Rout 1 where I can then go to the Orange Islands, but it's blocked off by some trees. I was a bit upset with that, however, some people tell me there's a finished one out there, so if Vizzed has it, can someone PLEASE link it to me so I can finish it? I would REALLY like to see what happens!

Not bad at all. But I do wonder why you didn't write this from the game page, and get it posted in the reviews forum. In any case, you did good!

Nice job on this man, it is a decent length and you put some good detail into making this review which is excellent. Just try to add on a bit more to each category, because some categories have a lot that you can say. Like for example, addictiveness, graphics ad sound should really be 3 big main points for discussion. So really talk about the game and elaborate in some areas by explaining your reasoning for the scores you gave and word count should come much easier. 


Overall though, this is pretty good and you have made some pretty good reviews in the past. Just keep on practicing and make reviewing a frequent thing because practicing will make you a master of reviews. It is all about repetition and practice. That being said, keep up the awesome work and keep making more awesome reviews man, I look forward to reading your next review!

emoteen134 : While I see your point in suggesting it being moved (I honestly wrestled with whether or not I should after your summon), I don't think it necessarily has to be moved, unless the author would rather have it in the Game reviews forum, and on the game page (I would have to know which version of the game he played as well, so I could attach the RGR ID number to it after I moved it there).

SalamenceR3 : Do you want this moved to the review forum (and the game's page)? If so, could you tell me which version of the game you're reviewing, 2.5z, 3.61, or 4.2? Since there are three beta forms of it in the RGR, I would have to know which you played, so I could attach the proper RGR ID to it (as I told emoteen134).

Eirinn : Ah. I see your point as well. Well its fine either way, just trying to be helpful. I watch the forums a lot. LOL

Eirinn : If it would do better in that section, then by all means move there please. I believe that the one I played was Beta 3.61. 

Now I have a question: is Beta 4.2 more progressed than 3.61? like will it let me go to Orange Islands, because I would REALLY want to finish the game at it's entirety and add on to this review.

I'm pretty sure that 4.2 would be more complete (though to be honest, I don't understand how that all works). I can't say that it would allow you to progress farther, but it could. In any case, it should have some new additions. You might be able to find out more by checking 4.2's page.

Bear in mind though, that 4.2 is a beta as well, so it still won't allow you to complete the game.
