Well, I think I set a new world record this morning, fastest 9 year old typist. Ya wanna know the speed I got? 67 wpm with 423 keystrokes per minute. It was a one minute typing test. Notmally I only do 50! I was in a typing race, with my mom's boyfriend. He got 72 wpm with 6 errors, and I got 67 wpm with one error.

I don't think that that is a world record. You would be amazed at how fast some people can type. I am sure that there is a 9 year old that can type 3 times faster than you.

Seems as if you have fast fingers, I can't even type 20 words without making at least 2 errors which in this case is just embarrassing, but still I don't know how you do it though.

Whoa man, that is really fast for  a typing speed considering how young you are. I can type about 50 words per minute and I thought that was good, but at the rate you are typing, I just think that is amazing and unthinkable.

I make a lot of mistakes when I am trying to type fast, so I try to normally write in the 45 words per minute range, it is a decent speed and I make less errors when I type at that speed. I also tend to look at the keyboard every now and then just to be sure i don't make too many silly mistakes. For a 9 year old, this is pretty incredible! You will grow up to have like turbo fingers, imagine how  fast you will be able to type when you are an adult and a teenager! It's unbelievable!

I think this was a one time thing, I was so focused. Anny other time I am distracted, getting me 40 wpm. Being in that race motivated me to type fast, I was thinking "Gotta type so fast...got to hit 70wpm" but I got 67, close enough.
