You are definitely not the only one that does not enjoy sports. I like sports (any of them) about as much as I like a kick in the teeth. I hate sports, it does nothing for me to watch or play it. I reckon I can understand how a man might like watching football or what have you but I just don't.

I like playing, checking scores of important matches, and watching the Super Bowl. I couldn't identify one play in any of the sports! I hate watching most sports, because it is just watching people chase a ball around a screen... It is a little different when sitting in the stadium though.

I am on the same boat as you. I play some sports like tennis and volleyball but I'm not really interested in watching sports on television. I get bored most of the time watching a sport. Whenever sport watching fanatics hear about me complaining about being bored watching sports, they give me the weird look or complain at me.  Playing a sport and watching a sport are two completely different worlds to me. It takes practice, time, hard work, and dedication (as well as teamwork depending on the sport) to be able to play in sports especially in the big leagues. Watching it on television may "bring" people together but it's just a bunch of chaos when rooting for different athletes/teams.

I don't like watching sports either. I really like playing any kin for sport though. I really like playing sports but as soon as I have to watch someone else play it, it is the most boring thing ever. I've played and competed in a lot of sports over the years.
