Hello vizzed! If you didn't know, I have a Pokemon hack, which is still in the beta stages. And I'm trying to get opinions from everybody to see what I could do to improve it. First off, I don't have a working script editor, so unfortunately, story changing is out of the question. But if you have any suggestions on how to make the game better, please post here. And if I can, I might try to get your name into the credits (wonder if earthwarrior knows how to do that).

Can there be a Nicolas Cage player option? I would appreciate that. And would there be any major differences during the day and night? Like, would you encounter pokemon you would find in a cave, or any nocturnal pokemon?

A user of this : I think a Nick Cage option is out. XD Maybe I'll try that next time. Unfortunately, I don't think I could make certain Pokemon appear at night. I think it just changes color palette. There might be something I could do with that though. I'll check on that.

Play through or watch playthroughs of the Pokemon games. Listen to the read the dialogue. Try to make the game dialogue natural and true to the cannon games. And try not to repeat story elements such as "Oh, the Gym Leader is over here, go and get her and she'll return to the Gym". Try and mix it up and add unexpected battles and events in there too.

rosio98 : I don't exactly want to put starters like Charmander and Bulbasaur that early. I don't want the game to be too easy. But you can get a Pikachu pretty soon in the game, in the form of Pichu, in the cave by Rustboro town. I also will probably change the starters a bit too, so they might be accesible a little bit earlier than they currently are. Thanks for he feedback!

I REALLY don't want to double post, but I would also like to know which starters I should use. I want to keep the normal starters, from any generation. You will end up getting the ability to get every starter in the end anyways, but I want to make sure you get the one you want. Please tell me the 3 starters you would prefer.

For the three starters, put in something different. Don't do three actual starters. Maybe do Smoochum, Elekid, and Magby? I haven't played your game yet, so I cannot really comment on it. Can you get all of the legendaries? That is always something people like.

tgags123 : I've actually kind of decided to keep the three starters what they were before. Cyndaquil, Squirtle, and Treecko. But yes, you can get all the legendary Pokémon. They will all be in the cave in the Battle Frontier.

I like the whole color changing on the screen, it's a brilliant idea. Although the only thing I dislike is how dark it is, if it is possible to brighten it maybe just a bit?(at night) It may play tricks with eyes.

How about a Fighting, Psychic and Dark type starters because it's like one of those type chains  Like Grass, Water and Fire. Just an idea I always thought was good, Surprised that no one hardly uses that kind of thing with the type chains.
