I picked this particular game up because I enjoyed quite a few of the Nick Toons featured in this game, though I think the only ones the target audience are likely to be familiar with are Fairly Odd Parents as well as SpongeBob SquarePants. Sadly the games focused around these two target audiences are the least favorite of the games for this particular collection and it is honestly a toss up between the two as to which is my least favorite. Since I mentioned Fairly Odd Parents first I will start with that particular game and work to my most favorite. (Final rating is an average from each game.)

Fairly Odd Parents: Enter the Cleft
O: (5.4) G: (8) S: (6) A: (5) S: (3)  D: (5)  D: (3)

For those not familiar with the Fairly Odd Parents I'm going to be upfront that this is another one of the Nick Toons with an odd sense of humor. With this particular game you have the super hero that the main character admires named the Cleft, a superhero known for... you guessed it... is Cleft chin. So when our hero Timmy ends up going into his favorite super hero comic you find him sporting a fake cleft chin. The villains also have oddities like this. Some people may be familiar with Word Girl instead, so if you are you can say the villains are similar to that particular PBS show. The reason for him getting to go into the comic book is because his Fairy Godparents are constantly granting his wishes.

Despite the odd character designs the graphics are nice. What becomes problematic is that in this particular side scroll game you find yourself in the actual comic book moving frame to frame. Thus there are these annoying white lines smack in the middle of the screen. Believe me when I say these white lines don't stop the bad guys anymore then they stop you. The game play is pretty much you running from one end of the level to the next with no real goal in mind except to run through the world.

SpongeBob SquarePants
O: (3.2) G: (1) S: (6) A: (3) S: (3)  D: (3)  D: (3)

This particular game is similar to the Fairly Odd Parents game in the fact you're pretty much running from one end of the level to the next with no real goal in mind. It's about exploring the world more then anything. Thus... well, it's not very exciting. As for what SpongeBob Square Pants is for those who don't know... that's... kind of hard to explain. It involves off the wall sense of humor like the show the previous game is based off of except its the kind less people will find to actually be funny, but its honestly also the kind of humor expected of some Nick Toons.

The big deal here though? The graphics stink. Mind you, the game play is easy but playing through the various levels becomes tedious as its not much of a challenge and the graphic levels really aren't that great. How bad are they? Well... its hard to read the text in the game. Not hard as in you can't read the words, but it is a major eye sore and honestly a pain on the eyes.

Rocket Power: Zero Gravity Zone
O: (7.5) G: (7) S: (6) A: (9) S: (n/a)  D: (8)  D: (8)

Rocket Power? This is one of the shows I doubt the target audience would know as its been nine years since the show finished airing while the other two are still airing. Pretty much the show is about a group of friends who like doing extreme sports. That's pretty much what you need to know about the show because that is where the games focus is. There is no real storyline to said game. It's simply one of those sport games where you complete tasks and earn points/money.

There are two difficulty levels for the game. Pretty much you can go into the options for the game and turn on and off a particular feature that effects how sensitive the controls are. For those playing it for the first time I suggest turning the feature off unless you're really good at gaming. There is a tutorial mode, you can change your character and you run through skateboarding areas completing various missions. It is a lot of fun.

The problem? It's one of those older games that requires passwords to get back to your save point. By save point I mean the amount of money you have as well as other things you've unlocked. If you don't remember your password, everything is lost. Even if you do remember you have to start all over with the missions for each area. Which, honestly takes away from the fun I've had with this game.

Nicktoons: Freeze Frame Frenzy
O: (7.6) G: (8) S: (6) A: (8) S: (8)  D: (8)  D: (5)

This particular game includes along with the other three titles some other games that I expect the target audience to recognize. These are Jimmy Neutron and Danny Phantom. The games I don't expect the target audience to recognize are Hey Arnold, The Wild Thornberries, Rugrats! All Grown Up!, Invader Zim and My Life as a Teenage Robot.

Knowing the shows is actually important as it helps to know which characters don't belong in each world. Your job is to photograph various characters. If they don't belong in the world you sent them back to their world by taking their picture multiple times. You play various characters and each have different stats. Game play is very straight forward and unlike the other games you don't have to worry about password codes. The only down side is eventually you get to the point where characters hurry off screen at one point, so you have to figure out how to capture them as eventually it will effect whether or not you're able to proceed.
