Hello all, Star Fox fans and Vizzed viewers alike!

Now, before the finer detail of this thread is spun I would like you all to watch this video beforehand. I feel it would help creativity flow in ideals that could be brought to the table here. Plus it is very entertaining!

Okay! Hopefully you watched this wonderful video and it blew your mind. Now to explain what it was, it was a, to a point, remake intro of the original Star Fox game that was released back in 1993 with voice clips taken from Star Fox 64 to improve on this with much more intensity. With that being said, hopefully this has your mind buzzing about "what if.." when it comes to Star Fox and how far we've come. I would like this thread to be about ideals, and please don't be shy to share them, any and all are fine! But please, go into elaborate detail, tell me what you want out of the Star Fox franchise, what would you like to see? How more involved can players get, and could we get players across the world to join in if there was an even bigger multiplayer?

Out of my ideas, to star this thread, I would like to see a more futuristic Star Fox, a more in-depth one really. Now many would say, "Hey, all of them are advanced and Star Fox Assault was more open to things that the past games!" Well yes, indeed Star Fox Assault really raised the bar with how things went with new ground combat styles instead of a simple Landmaster level, I applaud for a big change, it was refreshing to see! But what I mean is, give us some amazing schematic of things (just like the video including that Ar-wing diagnostic), give us some big cutscenes that show off the world and all of its technology, woo us with a world that goes beyond our thoughts. And again, i' not saying Star Fox hasn't done that before, but things can always be improved upon. But please share more on this if you guys have some better ideas.

What about vehicles? Would you like to see more? Would you like to be able to tinker with them in some way? 

Ever have any other ideas for what multiplayer could expand upon? Then please throw the ideas out here. 

But I will end my ideas there! Please, viewers and fans alike, share what on your mind! I would really like to hear from the fans and what they'd like to see instead of sitting around and waiting for developers to tell us whats up. Imagination and creativity is everything, so don't be afraid to share!

Ahh man that one for gamecube was soooooooooooo underrated. I think it was called star fox adventures where they tried to do an free roam Zelda like RPG. I think the did a good job and I love that style of gameplay felt the fighting was lacking, but I liked the story and loved the graphics.
I would like to see a free roam RPG but with the gameplay style of Starfox64 where you mainly control the ship in space. If you had Starfox64 you know that it was another great Fox game and one of the craziest games at it's release, I remember sitting there for hours hooked on it. The way I in-vision the gameplay for our new Fox game would almost be a reverse of how skyward sword's gameplay is, a few quick ground missions nothing too serious maybe parts stores and recovery missions, but have most of the gameplay focus on space and fighting in different galaxies, you could have a massive free roam map with different wormholes to different places. I could imagine the graphics they could do now for something like that would be phenomenal as well.

Kevyn13 : You know, i've seen ya around the board a couple times and I liked you already as is but man you really stepped it up with this post. I love ya, dude, I was thinking along the lines of something like this as well. I own Star Fox Adventures still and it was very underrated because..well it went outside the comfort zone for people. But it brought more to the world and story of Star Fox. I would like to see a game go outside the Lylat system entirely, see a new species of intelligent life from what we've already seen, come across new dangers and a little planet exploring. 

And most definitely would I like to see more big focus on Ar-wing combat. If they could make a game where you somehow tinker with the controls like you did with Metroid Prime 3 where various controls in Samus' ship could be turned or pressed and stuff well that would make me explode with joy. Being able to screw around with advanced tech allows players to really feel like they're control and possibly even take on the role of Fox himself! New moves or power-ups could make combat so much more intense and that much better. And with the RPG aspect, heck, maybe there could be a way to improve upon the Ar-wings or something with parts you get from various missions and such.

But getting really hyped up isn't a bad thing, imaginary or not! If there is ever a time where the Star Fox team is open to ideas from its fans then you could start lighting up their inbox with various ideas. Its why I made this thread, just let all of that out, see what we the fans could make if it were possible!

But good post man, good post. Keep an eye on this thread for more stuff, I aim to not disappoint fans and viewers.

zerothesaint : Ha I am glad you like my post, I was afraid I wasn't getting into enough detail. 
I do have a bit more ideas towards this game in the aspects of storyline and upgrading vehicles ships and weapons, also possible character ideas.
Firstly I would have a new form of andross that has fused with a type of Bio-technology as the main antagonist of the game (maybe Biondross), which Bio-tech would also be incorporated in other bosses which would in turn Upgrade your ship or weapons. Have the dinos from adventures make a come back on the land missions just to have a good contrast to the vastness of space, but have them kind of be mindless drones or slave soldiers for Biondross. Take a rebel dinosaur  who's sick of being used, there's one of your crew, as a playable character, along with Falco and maybe have Wolf be another option with the craziest ship in the game once fully upgraded but only after you play through story once. Falco has the speed ship good for getting through asteroids covering lots of area and dodging. Our dino friend will have the bulky power ship  that can take out mother ships and small moons with the attitude to back it up and of course Fox will have our well balanced reliable ship with the best/most upgrades. As well to the 4 playable characters in story mode I would add a call for back up attack where others like Flippy would offer some support, while also making a multiplayer mode where they are playable and their ships have some kind of upgrading capability. I think these elements could make for some crazy gameplay with the massive map I talked about earlier.
Also I do love the idea of using the tank on the ground. But this is all I got for right now.

Kevyn13 : I love it! You are conveying enough details for me at least. Those are all amazingly great ideas, especially the incorporation of up-gradable parts in contrast with enemies. That would make a very interesting twist. And once again, having the dinos play a part wouldn't be bad either. And new ideas of Andross can always be good ones. I would also like to say, with new various parts of the ever expanding universe to explore maybe there can be some other baddies around who could even rival Andross and cause mischief among each other as a power struggle for the ruler of everything? Not to mention new rivals that come along that could rival the troublesome Wolf O'donnell and his crew.

I also very much like the idea of another member to the crew, a rebel at that. Who knows, maybe Star Fox could expand a little more beyond 4 main members, especially if they're going into uncharted territory. I also enjoy the concept of each character having their own styled Ar-wing and such, it makes it more realistic because every pilot has their own ways of going about things which could make the gameplay a lot more interesting. Maybe there could even be new types of flying vehicles that could be used on some specific missions. Possibly ones that deal with mission critical situations such as specific hazards and what not. Not to mention all new vehicles for both ground and even water terrain.

I've always wondered what the heck happened to the Blue Marine after its single appearance during Star Fox 64. Maybe we could increase possible water levels and change a lot on that concept with the game as far as exploration goes.

But please keep the original ideas coming, i'm so loving it. Heck, come up with scripts or something if you choose and this goes for everybody. Just let the imagination go!

While there are many things that I'd like to see return from Star Fox 2 beta.
I think that this thread is more for new ideas. So I'll post mine.

The ability to hire extra Star Fox team members would be neat.
Of course you have your four default teamates, but  I would like it it
in the game you could  hire more mercenaries, (for a fee).

Some ideas for money use:

1 At the end of each mission, you get money.

2 You can spend the money on things like Lazer power ups, such as the double lazer.

3 You can buy bombs

4 You could pay money to bribe Star Wolf to go away.

5 You could hire a Venomian official to turn traitor, and make the next mission
easy. (ie, the official causes the defense grid to be knocked down at the begining of the mission.)

7 The objective of the Game would be to have as much money as possible at the end of the game.

New villain.

One thing that I like about Star Fox is that the story doesn't stay put but rather it is forwarded in
each game. One thing that could be used is a new villain. How about a pirate, that gained the loyalty
of an entire planet, decided to establish a central government, and goes against Oinkonny and Corneria.


An adventure mode where you play as Star Wolf perhaps?

Some new Arwing powerups would be neat. As well.j


Oh, yeah, And how about more activity
outside the Lylat system?
New affiliations, planets and a new mercenary squadron?
