Alright magnemite such and old pokemon and such a powerful one and i am here to tell you why so lets get right to it starting with its moveset

now at level 1 the only move it knows will be tackle...pretty basic but it is a steel type so nothing up to this point can do to much damage to you at level 4 we get supersonic a move that i dont like using but im sure some of you guys like using and still you got 2 more slots to fill so this move is really harmless take it if you want now we get are first good move at level 7 and thats thunder shock this move is really good for now compared to the other moves in our moveset so keep it and use it until we get a better electric type move now level 11 we get sonic boom

As i was saying at level 11 we get sonic boom a move that i hated in the first gen because it killed my team so fast and thats because sonic boom no matter what deals 20 damage...so why did that hurt my team because they used it in THE EARLY LEVELS OF THE GAME but anyway you can use the move in the early levels of the game its going to be a great move for now but your going to want to get rid of that move soon at level 15 we get thunder wave a move that cripples the enemy pokemon if it hits and luckily this move has 100% accuracy so this move will rarely miss use it if you want but i dont suggest it at level 18 we get magnet bomb a move that is actually pretty good because it negates stat changes such as a speed boost or sand attack aka this move NEVER MISSES ITS TARGET so use it its going to be a great move for now.and at level 21 we get are move that will finally replace thundershock and thats spark this move has a base attack damage of 65 and has 100% accuracy so this will replace thundershock until we get a stronger electric type move.at level 25 we get mirror shot a steel type move that has a 30% chance of lowering the targets accuracy its...somewhat good but it is a really weak move and i dont suggest using it.at level 29 we get metal sound...dont use it done...


And now we finally have magneton a really good pokemon with really good defense so lets move on to its moves and see what this thing can do.at level 34 we get electro ball now this is a tricky move because the damage depends on the user pokemon the faster the users pokemon is the more damage it will do and really...this move could work if we were using a different pokemon but sadly this guy is really slow so this move is not going to be that effective so i dont suggest using it.at level 39 we get flash cannon a steel type move with a base attack damage of 80 and it has a 10% chance of lowering the targets defense and this is a really good move in fact its a great move so i suggest you use it this move is going to help you out alot. now at level 45 we get screech....do i even need to say anything.....OKAY MOVING ON at level 51 we get....most likely the best electric type move in this things moveset and that discharge this move has 80 attack power and has 100% accuracy so just replace any electric type move you have right now with this i promise you wont regret it. at level 56 we get lock on....dont use it at level 62 we get magnet rise and okay this move could be effective because all steel type pokemon get a damage increase so i guess this move could be effective so use it if you want. at level 67 we get gyro ball this move is stronger if you are faster than the enemy pokemon and ONCE AGAIN THIS MOVE could be effective if this was a different pokemon but hey were not so dont use it...okay you can but i dont suggest it. okay the last move here is at level 73 and thats zap cannon and this move is an electric type move and does 120 damage but has 70% accuracy...okay you can use it if you want but i like using discharge but hey use it if you want and.....yep thats it time for the stats....oh wait magnezone well screw it you guys cant even get the pokemon in the first place go to bulbapedia or something

Now magnetons highest stat is its special attack this is one of the reasons why its electric type moves are so effective and why i urge you to keep those electric type moves and this is another reason why this pokemon is so good because most of the moves in its movesets are special attack and to take that even further this pokemon only has 3 weaknesses most of...okay sadly all of these weaknesses are commonly found in the game but you can manage oh yeah those weaknesses are fire ground and fighting and once again these are found commonly during the game so...thats its stats time for tms and hms im gonna make this short....dont use any why....?because this thing is good enough there is nearly no point in using them but if you want to try to perfect go right ahead but the one move i suggest you give to this guy is thunderbolt....FINAL THOUGHTS

Final thoughts:this pokemon is so good and i dont know why some people look down on it it has great defense great offense and it only has 3 weaknesses this thing will be such a good party member for the elite 4 this pokemon is not one of the best but its pretty freaking close all in all a good pokemon that deserves a spot on your team if you dont have an electric type consider using it sometime?

Hm... Not bad. I agree Magnemite is a good Pokemon. This could be a little more organized, but awesome, nonetheless. I agree to many of your points. Magnemite is pretty good, but I personally don't think he's as good as you give him credit for. Ha ha.

Never thought that a magnet in first gen is so cool compared to Pikachu using Thunder!!!

I agree i did hype this pokemon up a bit and i actually did leave out a few things i also did consider giving this pokemon a 3.5/5 but i guess nostalgia blocked my judgement for a bit but hey thanks for the feedback i am finally getting somewhere

I do like magnemite, although I really didn't use it much. I always thought that it was too hard to level up. I was a naive young lad back in the days of Pokémon Red and Blue. In hindsight, I really liked this Pokémon, and I agree with your rating 100%!
