earthwarrior : I can definitely help you out with the map. If you need to do an evaluation you can ask me to design whatever sprite you want.

PixelBrick : You didn't reply to a post I made a whe ago so I just assumed to were.
Ill tell you tomorrow exactly how much it is. It should be around $30 though.

The first map is finished. There aren't any events yet though.

LucasMull : You can make a map using advance map?

Hmm, good. Now can you tell me the stories for the towns so I can either give my opinions or say if anything needs to be added?

earthwarrior : Sure, it seems easy enough to learn. Does it accept user-made sprites?

No we don't have a story. Weren't you supposed to make it? Or Hidden phantom?
Are you getting your stuff together or do you not have anything yet?

earthwarrior : And by the way, it will be a hell lot easier to design the map if there is already the storyline base in mind.

LucasMull : I see you can help with the map. I will go on up to the 3rd town and leave the rest for you. That is just a few more routes and a town or two since we only have to do 25% atleast for it to be an entry. 

earthwarrior : I thought we had a story, or at least a concept or side mission. The player would have to collect 7 or 8 keys from the region which would unlock some sort of dungeon. Was that idea scraped?

I have an idea for the fifth town though. It will have to contain a key. The Electric key is being rewarded as a prize at a Pokemon fashion runaway. There will be five other contestants

I don't have this as a favorite. Please don't hurt me! Alright, so I've gathered everybody's ideas. Including mine of course. We should have this hack done soon. There is a lot of contestants for the competition. Here's the story and side-quests. The words will be changed though.

Story:

A council of eight, a leader, and seven instigators in the council, are creating a plot to change the region forever (Plot will be found out on last town) When the main character moves in, he meets the professor that, you know, gives the ten-year-old a Pokemon. The main character does not yet know the plan. Nobody does. But he hears rumors of the council of eight and decides to become a master trainer to save the region.

Quick question; how many towns are there? If I do not know then I cannot finish this. 

PixelBrick : Since we probably only have enough time to enter a beta we wont finish all the towns just yet. I am in progress of the 3rd and then I am going to hand the rest over to LucasMull.

Obvious Bugs (Ones that I can spot without Beta Testing Skills)

When leaving Pallet Town to Route 1 their are a few glitched lines where connection is. If you walk through that pixelated mess it will say you are in route 1 but all that appears on the world is Pallet Town looping over again but in a very damaged and glitched state,

Once entering the small cave in Pallet Town you can not leave again.

There may be more bugs but due to the first one you can not access route 1.

Other things you may need to know

I deleted all of the scripts, signs and person events in the over world of Pallet Town.

I have not/briefly touched wild pokemon. Briefly being Deleting the Route 1 Data.

I have added in a few NPCs to some parts of the map, feel free to move then or change them.

I have Music for a few of the Maps in the list and a few extra that may or may not fit. I will upload them to send space at some point.

earthwarrior : I've lost all sense. I'm confused. I've found too many differing opinions. To be perfectly honest, at this point I have no idea what I'm doing.

I've got all the towns ready. I've been changing a lot of stuff by improving, etc.

Town 2: You will walk to the second town and you must enter the Pokemon mart to trigger the story. Once you get out, you see a group of people watching eight evil council members (The sprites for them need to be bad AStrology). Walk up to them, then they start talking about their secret plan. The group of people will shout complaints to them and whatnot. Then they leave to their base. Then you just continue.

Town 3: This is where the first key is. A trainer is missing his/her Delibirds. You need to catch them. If the Delibird faints, another Delibird will spawn on the map. After catching all of them then talking to the trainer, you will get the key. 

Town 4: Nothing

Town 5: Two council members terrorize the town. You need to find them at their temporary base. You need to battle them to move on. The mayor will say if you try to walk out, "Hey! It's your fault these fiends are here! Take care of 'em!" 

Town 6: Nothing

Town 7: The local farmer's market is going on with fresh produce and beverages to enjoy. A person who runs a fruit booth is missing his fruit. He says he will reward you with a key! Collect all the fruit to move on! The guy will give you a fruit tracker. It's basically a map that shows where the fruit is. You do need to keep checking your bag though.

Town 7: Days before a special contest in the town, the main character arrives. There is a Pokemon fashion competition. The reward is a "shiny beaut" as NPC's would say. You need to enter a Pokemon and contribute to the contest. There will be six other contestants. 

Town 8: There is a building burnt from a major fire years ago. You must investigate the building. You will find your rival in the building and battle him.

Town 9: A Pokemon has stolen the key in this town. The Pokemon takes the key to a cave. Explore the cave until you reach the Pokemon you must battle. I recommend it to be a shiny Charizard. You cannot catch it. 

Town 10: In this town, there will be a lot of people. You need to find the right people to talk to. They will give you clues to use to find the key on your scavenger hunt. The person you talk to to start the scavenger hunt will give you five Pokeballs in case you need more. There should be a lot of tall grass in this town.

Town 11: Nothing

Town 12: You are almost to the fifteenth town. This town is having a Pokemon tourney. The winner is getting an "Ancient Scroll." Use the ancient scroll, and it will warp you to a small room with the key. To escape, you need to use the scroll again.

Town 12: Nothing

Town 13: This town has a lot of rock climbers. Scale a mountain that has not been yet reached. The summit has no flag. The key is buried there. When you walk to the summit, it will trigger a ! on your head. The main character will then bury up the key. (No animation needed)

Town 14: Nothing

Town 15: So this is where the key of all keys is located. You must defeat a whole American Football team to get the world cup. The cup is a gold trophy. Ask an old man in the town to shape it into the key. He will tell you that years ago the trophy WAS the key. You are now ready to take down the council. But 9 Football players will try and stop you.

Ok sounds good. Can we try to come to chat Saturday at 10, 3, or 8 central? You don't have to come too all of them but if you could come to one that would be great.
