lol, I don't think the somewhat common ideology of male nurses is true -- it's good money, plus if you're interested in that then go for it.

I don't care if I end up in the ER and a male nurse is my attendant or whatever.

I'm cool with it. All it is is a profession. It's not sexually divided. Females tend to take on the nursing jobs, but males can, too.

It's not bad of a pay and if you like it, try it.

it doesn't really matter to me as long as there's people to do the job however I prefer not to have male doctors when I go to the doctor I just find it awkward.

Well in the field of nursing gender doesn't matter to me and it shouldn't matter to anyone else really because a nurse is there to help aid the doctor to save lives and tend to the patient so gender shouldn't matter. Although some people see male nurses as gay men which doesn't make much sense because their sexuality shouldn't have anything to do with that specific job field. Furthermore nurses make decent money and you should be proud to be a nurse that helps and tends to patients and assist doctors and not care or focus so much on the fact you are a male nurse.
