Hello everybody, Today I am reviewing a game, a game from my early childhood, This game is toy story, It is based off of the CGI animated film of the same name. Now what we are going to be finding out is If the video game adaption of the hit blockbuster movie does the movie justice, does it? Let's find out!

Story-7/10
In a world where toys come to life, We see the average life of a young boy named Andy Davis, Andy has alot of toys that He has been collecting since god knows when, And he would hate to see them go, Some of these toys include Sherriff woody, Hamm the piggy bank, Rex the Dino, etc.  But then on Andy's birthday, he gets a rather special looking present, you see, this isn't just a present, this is a buzz lightyear action figure! He is an action figure that can shoot his laser and do a bunch of other crazy stuff, But then jealousy occurs when Andy begins to spend more time with buzz then one of his other toys, Sheriff woody, a cowboy doll. Buzz and woody begin fighting with eachother through the film but then truly realize the value of their friendship.

Gameplay-8/10
Toy story for the SNES is your typical platformer game, You control our hero woody through more then 10 big levels, defeating bad guys or doing other crazy stuff. Each level in the game has a certain objective to do, such as putting back toys in a toy chest in under a time limit, or just getting through the stage in onc piece like usual. Woody will be collecting various items, such as stars, hats, and other weird stuff, Collecting all stars in each level will give you a continue, and collecting hats gives you an extra life. Between levels there will be some bosses, but they are rare, there all only like 2 in the whole game. The controls are pretty simple, A is jump, And B is Attack, nothing special, But it is affordable. There are of course more levels then just the platforming ones, there are also levels where you control an RC car through the streets, and alot of more. Anyways, that is it for the gameplay.

Graphics-8/10
I will give the developers credit here, The game uses 3D silicon graphics much like Donkey Kong country, But Is that bad, No! The game's graphics look really nice detailed and colorful, as for the characters in the game look pretty recognizable, like woody, buzz, Rex, etc. Each of the many levels in this game are bursting with color and atmosphere, such as the claw machine world, or Sid's workbench. The game isn't the best looking game on the SNES, but it is still pretty great!

Sound-7/10
Probably my favorite part of the game, the soundtrack. The movie's soundtrack is somewhat squeezed into there, You do get two very amazing songs by randy Newman, Strange things and you got a friend in me, all in 16-bit glory. As for the soundtrack in the actual game, It is OK, Nothing to write home about though, as for the sound effects, they are just Eh, they are your typical cartoon sound effects, but that is not a bad thing.

Addictiveness-7/10
Is this a game I am going to play again! Of course, I don't really see a reason to put this game away after just a while, It has that charm that you don't see in licensed games.

Depth-6/10
The game is about 15 levels long, So It will probably take you about 2 hours to dash through the whole game in one sitting. I remember when I first beat this game, I still kept playing It again, because the game is fun, charming, and does the toy story franchise alot of justice.  That is a plus.

Difficulty-8/10
This is the highest point of the game, the difficulty level! I remembered dieing and dieing and dieing on Sid's workbench thousands of times as a kid! But otherwise, If you can get past these flaws, the game shouldn't give you that much trouble. In fact, looking at this game today, It is pretty easy!

Overall-8.1/10
If you need a good platformer on the SNES, I highly recommend you get toy story! I gave this game an 8.1 because how much fun, challenge and everything else It offers! So this has been RedHotToddy, and see you later!

Great job with this review! I really like the title you gave your review, it really is a great movie series and I am sure that this game is really good too. As usual you went into stunning detail with this review, great job. You always put forth 110% into your reviews and I think that is great.

You always do a thorough job of reviewing the game as well which is always good and very important. Keep up the awesome work as always, and keep making more great reviews!

By the way is this like your 60th review now? How many have you done up until this point?
