Banjo tooie was a great sequel, a great game on its own and a great game for the Nintendo 64, with nearly all players playing it through to the end, and was pretty much the definition of the words "perfect game" with wide worlds to explore, a rich story, graphics that were amazing at the time of release, many new and original moves, brilliant mini-games and it was just one of the greatest games on the N 64, standing next to Ocarina of time or Star Fox 64.

The graphics were amazing for the time, and players thought that this wasn't possible for the N 64 - or many game consoles available at the time. And in some place were simply breathtaking, like Hail-fire peaks. Although not being as great as the new standards, they set a high standard at the time, and were some of the best graphics at the time.

The sound was amazing, the music was catchy, enemies noticing you were all unique to them, and even "voices" for every single character in the game. You couldn't help going into a world thinking 'What music will play this time?' unless you'd already beaten the game and had come back for more. Speaking of which...

Once you had barely completed the game, you really wanted to go back and get all of the stuff. Most the time, you did it for the jinjos as they were so freaking cute you felt bad for not. And, it was a lot easier than the last as they were all in bundles.

Although some people would complete it and call it a day, most players would simply roam around and take in the beauty of the game, and if you've played it you can't deny that theirs a certain charm to such a humble game. Plus, they constantly break the fourth wall.

Difficulty was something put in PERFECTLY, not to hard, not to easy, skill was always needed, sheer luck didn't happen. The only bad part about it was that there was no setting for it, so you couldn't make it harder or easier if necessary.

So, even if you hate adventure games, I really do recommend you play through the game. Or if not that, watch some videos on it for a while in the later parts of the game, trust me it does not disappoint. And if you don't like it and prefer Fps, their are tonnes of mini games based around them. I hope you enjoy the game, and I also recommend that you play banjo - kazooie for a more detailed description of the events leading up too Banjo - tooie, as they really complex.
