This game guide is the second part of the Donkey Kong Country 2 walkthrough that I'm in the process of making. Normally I will put all my post into 1 enormous post but this time I decided to break it up and into parts to help make the game guide even easier to read. This second part will begin at World 3: Krem Quay and walk you through to the end of World 4: Krazy Kremland. Like the first section I will keep the same colors to the each of their respective parts of the guide. This color code is as follows;
Red will represent each world and title each section.
Green will represent every level within each world.
Yellow will be the color for finding and locating each of the DK Tokens found throughout the game.
Light Blue will represent each of the Kremlin Tokens you earn from completing the Bonus Mini-Games.
Orange will highlight each of the bosses found in each of the worlds.

Krem Quay
This area of the game is like a swamp or marsh. You'll encounter new enemies and new barrels that helps you get further. You'll also come across my favorite stage in this game later into the world.

Barrel Bayou
This time around your barrels might have a time limit attached to them which means you are going to be faster than normal. You can also find Rambi in this level which is necessary for the DK Token. There are 2 bonus areas in this level. The first bonus area is the cannon but in order to get the cannonball you need to head to the right where the enemy throws stuff at you. Don't kill him because he'll head to the left and throw a cannonball. Grab it and enjoy the ride. As you progress further into the level you'll come across the bonus barrel.

Cannon - Destroy Them All. Using the cannonball you need to destroy the few enemies there are.

Barrel - Find the Token. Using the timed barrels you will need to blast to each barrel to find the token at the end.

DK Token - Find Rambi and take him to the no Rhino sign. This will reward you with the DK Token.

Glimmer's Galleon

This level takes place underwater and even more, this area is dark. A new friend appears to help you get through this level and lights the way for you except you will only see in the direction your Kong is facing. At the beginning there is an upward path that if you follow the bananas there is a hole in the wall. With the aid of Glimmer you can progress through this level. After the G Kong letter there is a path below one of the puffer fish. There is a lockjaw down there so you will need to avoid him and find the 2nd bonus.

Bonus 1 - Find the Token. You will need to swim through the dark maze to find this Token.

Bonus 2 - Find the Token. Another maze but you have the help of Glimmer this time to find it.

DK Token - Found at the very beginning of the game. This is found in a hidden area above the 1st bonus area.

Krockhead Klamber
Another swamp level except another new thing is introduced to the game. This time you can get the Krockhead Barrels that make the green crocodile heads appear from under the swamp for a limited time. You will need to use these to progress further into the game. The only bonus barrel in the game can be found by the no Spider sign. There's a banana arrow pointing up so you will need to use the Kong ability to throw one of your Kongs up and into the barrel above the arrow. Finish the level when you're done.

Barrel - Destroy Them All. Using Squitter you will need to kill the bees and earn your Token.

DK Token - Found at the beginning of the game but it's located at the very back. You will need both Kongs to reach the chest that has the DK Token in it.

Rattle Battle
Welcome to my favorite level of the game, probably my #1 favorite anyway. This time you will be transforming into Rattly and the music is different than any of the other songs (It's kind of like a remix of my favorite song from Donkey Kong Country). The first barrel is found to the top right of the first room and you will need to blast up there. After becoming the Snake you will need to jump close to half way through the level and when you see 3 bananas in a vertical line that means you need to jump down in the crack and you'll need to head left to the barrel that shoots you up to get those bananas. The last barrel is found above an arrow where you will need to use the Snake's ability to jump high.

Barrel 1 - Find the Token. Climb on top of the barrels and make your way to the top right.

Barrel 2 - Find the Token. Jump on each of the bees to kill them as the snake.

Barrel 3 - Collect the Stars. You will need to jump to get the stars and use the Snake's ability to do a super bounce to get the really high stars.

DK Token - Before you reach the 3rd barrel you will need to jump into the damages ship section raised above where there are a flat stack of barrels. A barrel will blast you up and into the DK Token.

Slime Climb
This level is pretty different than the rest, as you progress further into the level so does the Slime and so does the blue Lockjaw. You can't kill Lockjaw no matter what you do so you need to stay out of the slime. After the invincibility barrel you will find another invincibility barrel. You will need to jump into the water and follow a trail of bananas to a Barrel. There is a cannonball later in the level. You will need to take this to the cannon. Afterwards finish the level.

Barrel - Collect the Stars. Use Dixie because she's better at this one. You will need to climb the ropes and glide into the stars.

Cannon - Destroy Them All. Use the DK barrel and cannonballs to defeat your enemies.

DK Token - Close to the end there will be an invincibility barrel where you will need both Kongs to reach. Grab it and jump into the water. Head to the right and you'll find the DK Token.

Bramble Blast
This level is probably my second favorite level in the game. First, I love the song that is played for this and second, it's pretty cool. This level you can't touch the boundaries or you'll take damage. You want to be careful where you aim because you might end up losing this one a lot. On top of that, the barrels are a maze so figuring out which way to go and into which one can be challenging and take awhile. Don't get frustrated though. Your first Barrel can be found in the mess of Barrels where the O Kong letter can be found. You need to make your way to the bottom left corner of this area. To find the second barrel is tricky. After you're launched onto a dragonfly and into a launch barrel you will need to move back to the bananas below where you're launched. This will blast you up and over to Squawks. You will need to fly Squawks around to the barrel.

Barrel 1 - Find the Token. This gives you another maze of barrels. You will need to do your best on this and sorry that I can't help you out. Don't go in circles, that might help!

Barrel 2 - Find the Token. You will need to navigate through the path and reach the no Bird sign. When you get there you'll be given the Token.

DK Token - Found by riding Squawks to the left inside the bramble path.

Boss Fight: Kudgel in Kudgel's Kontest
This guy has a fascination with jumping. If you keep moving he won't be able to touch you. After the third jump he will drop a barrel. You can hit him with it. After you've hit him 3 times he'll start jumping around on the land which will paralyze you momentarily. You will need to jump to avoid this and dodge him. After every 3 jumps another barrel will appear. Hit him 3 times to claim victory to this Kontest.

Krazy Kremland
This is probably my favorite world, collectively speaking. In this world I loved the roller coaster style level and the bee level was probably the most unique of all the levels in the game. Absolutely worth it!

Hornet Hole
In order to navigate through this level you will need to get used to the honey that sticks to the walls and stops you from walking if you step on it. In the beginning there is a hook above you. You need both Kongs to get to it them climb to the top using the honey. Go all the way up the wall and cross on the hooks to make your way to the first bonus. The second is right below the first bonus. Before you reach the star barrel there are some porcupines that cross on the honey. Above them is a hook. You need both Kongs to reach it. Above that is a vertical wall of honey. Climb the wall and reach Squitter up on top. You must take Squitter through the level without losing it. After you obtain the N Kong letter and blast up with Squitter you should see a pair of bananas. This indicates you follow them to the 3rd bonus.


Bonus 1 - Find the Token. To win this one you need to break all the chests to get the Token.

Bonus 2 - Find the Token. Climb the honey to reach this Token.

Bonus 3 - Find the Token. You need to use Squitter's special ability to walk on the webs to reach the token for this one.

DK Token - Found with Squitter. You need to kill off a bee and fall to the path below then use Squitter's special ability to make webs up to the DK Token.

Target Terror
This is Donkey Kong Country 2's version of the mine cart level. This time it takes place in the carnival. This is a pretty fun level and it ha a good song to go with it. Sometime along the level you will need to jump to reach the barrel. It's all you can really do while riding. After the N you will need to follow the enemy that falls in front of you tossing out barrels. Follow him and jump onto another cart.

Barrel 1 - Destroy Them All. Using Squawks you will need to kill all the bees and earn your Token.

Barrel 2 - Find the Token. You will need to jump from each cart to the next to get to the end.

DK Token - After the N Kong letter there is a wooded area and if you jump when you reach it you should grab the DK Token. It's hidden in there.

Bramble Scramble
Like Bramble Blast, this area is covered with the Bramble Plants. Instead of using barrels to travel through this area you will have to do it on foot and with the help of Squawks. Close to the start of the level you will need both Kongs to reach the invincibility barrel. Drop down into the Bramble path below and find a barrel that blasts you up and into the Kremlin Barrel.

Barrel - Collect the Stars. Using Squawks you will need to defeat the bees and collect the stars they guard.

DK Token - After the halfway barrel there is a section of wall directly to the right that you can jump through. You will see a path on the other side that you will land on. In here you will transform into Squitter and you will need to climb your way through the Bramble to reach the Token. There are a few areas where you can go through the Bramble. In the first area to the left is the actual DK Token. If you head through to the right you can travel through there and up to the no Spider sign.

Rickety Race
Here starts your first race. This time you will want to climb up to the platform above where you start. There is a ledge and you can climb up to the passage on the right where the only Bonus is in this level. Search for the DK Token and make your way to the end.

Bonus - Destroy Them All. Just destroy as many as you can, if you get enough you will win the Token.

DK Token - If you kill the guy in first place you'll earn the DK Token.

Mudhole Marsh
Like the 3rd world, this level is also swampy. You're also going to encounter a new enemy here, one that can send you flying during his spin. The first Barrel will be visible where this enemy is. Don't kill em, just get into the barrel. Afterwards, you'll find a cannonball and you'll need to take that to the Cannon. Finish the level and you're good to go.

Barrel - Collect the Stars. You will need to use the Kong's ability to throw each other to reach the high stars.

Cannon - Use the cannonballs to kill the dragonflies and bees to earn this one.

DK Token - You will need to time this one right at the end of the level to get this prize. Use the barrels to get high enough for it.

Rambi Rumble
Like the level suggests, this one will use Rambi to play. You're back in the hive and bees are no match for this Rhino unless they're King Size. In the area before you transform into Rambi you will need to climb onto a honey patch and climb up and on to an invisible hook disguised by the banana (all the way left of Rambi's room). Climb up into the first bonus. Progress further and become Rambi. If you take damage by the King Bee you can move at your own free will because you'll be behind the Bee. Underneath the automatic shooting barrel is a wall that Rambi can charge into and reach another bonus.

Bonus 1 - Find the Token. You will need to climb the honey to reach the Token up top.

Bonus 2 - Destroy Them All. As Rambi you will need to use the horn to kill all the enemies.

DK Token - To reach the DK Token you will need to stay outside of Rambi's room. Jump above the entrance and onto invisible hooks that take you over Rambi's room. Climb to the honey on the right to grab the Token.

Boss Fight: King Zing in King Zing Sting
This boss fight will transform you into Squawks. You will need to defeat King Sting by using the Squawk attack when he's yellow. When he's red well... that won't work. Your target is his stinger. You gotta hit the stinger twice to make him turn red. He'll fire spike at you and you have to dodge. Afterwards you gotta keep hitting him twice but he'll get faster. When he becomes smaller you will need to target the 4 bees to make him a target again. Keep hitting him and you'll win.

I'm not quite sure on the "parts" in the walkthrough is good for, but I'd say that it could take a lot less time on your part, so I can see the logic. Well done walkthrough again. Making video games less confusing for the future.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
