Pokémon Manly Pink - A review by Barathemos
This game. Is beast. That is all I have to say about it. ( If I was allowed to ) But this game if a hack of Pokémon Fire Red, but some of it is replaced by Gen 5. The Pokémon are mostly changed. All of the Gen 1 Pokémon have been changed, re written with code, to make it so you see only the Gen 5 Pokémon in there place. That was a great idea so that you could play with Gen 5 Pokémon on Vizzed. There are many things that have been changed though. The Pokémon are not the only ones, you also get more story added to the game, like Bianca, whose name has been changed to Belle, taking her appearance on route 3. You also get to see N, commander of team Plasma in Gen 5, near the end of the Viridian Forest. The moves that have changed stats from the transfer from Gen to Gen, have also been changed. This game is a great game for it being called Pokémon Manly Pink .

Overall: 9.6
This was a great game. When you play this game, it really makes you forget about the name. In the long run, many people don't play the game because of its name! But I would certainly suggest the game to any gamer who is a huge, or just a small fan of Pokémon. This game is just like Pokémon Fire Red, but it does have those great changes in story and in Pokémon. It was so fun for me to start a game that had Pokémon that had 5th Gen Pokémon on Vizzed! The game does have 1 big flaw though. The names for the Pokémon are not in English, but if you are a big Pokémon fan like me, you can get past that because you already know the names! But if you don't, I would give everyone of my Pokémon a nickname so you can know which one is which.

Graphics: 9
When I first saw that this game was a hack of Pokémon Fire Red with the Gen 5 Pokémon, I thought it would be just bad cover ups for the Pokémon that were originally there, but I was sadly mistaken. The creators of this game made a great job of making the Pokémon look great! They seemed to do the coding to perfection! It was a really well made job done! And with the things that they added, they did a great job making it so that they look great! The characters looked awesome! ( The ones that they changed ) And I would say that the graphics were very surprising to me the first time that I played! I would say that the rest is a bit better then the normal graphics for a Pokémon hack. So, because it was so great, I gave the graphics for this game, a 9. ( I don't give very good scores, I am a harsh grader ) 

Sound: 8
Sound, Sound, Sound. It is just one of the many things that were right with this game.  While the people who made this game were changing the code for this game, they did a great job to not with the code for sound to much! Mostly the sound for this game was the same as any other Pokémon game, I mean Fire Red and Leaf Green. But the sounds for these games are great! That is why I gave it an 8, because they did such a good job to leave the sound alone, and how the sound is just really good! If you were to ever play the game, which I hope you do after reading this, you will get what I mean. When you put in different coding for a game, you have to make sure to leave the sound alone, unless you want to change that, that is what they did such a great job on, those are the main reasons why I game the sound for this game an 8.  

Addictiveness: 9
This game is the same as any other Pokémon game, mostly. I know that Pokémon games are really addicting the first couple days that you play it after you get the game, and then them game gets boring. That is the same with this game, you start to play it, then after you do some more playing, it starts to bore you. But in this game, it seems that because you are playing with Gen 5 Pokémon, so I think that you just want to say that you have beaten a Gen 5 game on the GBA! I would normally not give a Pokémon game, especially a GBA one a 9 in Addictiveness, which is really high for me, but I think that this game is a really great one. I think that you should play this game, but only play it when you have quite of bit of time so you can get the whole experience. The game is just so fun that you will want to keep playing, that is why I gave this game the all mighty 9 in addictiveness.

Story: 7
Well, what can I say? It is a Pokémon game nothing more nothing less. But it is a whole different game. Sure, the story of this game is different, you get to go to different parts of the story and battle like no other Pokémon GBA game, the story is not much different then your average Pokémon game but because it has an expanded story line, I decided to give it some extra points. The extra story that the people who made the game added was not very much, but it was something, and something good. So I just thought that I could not keep it the same, I needed to give it an extra point, so when I made this, I decided to make the story score a 9 instead of an 8. ( Which is what I gave Pokémon Leaf Green )

Depth: 10
Well, just like story, it is Pokémon, short and sweet. You know, there are a whole bunch of Pokémon to catch and to train. You have to defeat all of the Gym Leaders, and the elite 4. You will also have to train all of your Gen 5 Pokémon all the way up to Level 100. That will indeed take a lot of time, training is easy until about level 30, where it then gets hard, then at level 50 it gets a lot harder, then at level 80, it takes forever to train a Pokémon 1 level, so you spend the most time in that zone, and the training gets worse around the time your reach the time when training your Pokémon gets hard. But when you add some more story, I would want to give this game an 11 in this category, but you know, the highest I can give is a 10, so I will give this game a 10 in the Depth section.

Difficulty: 7
This game is not too hard. It is a 7, which I guess would be hard in some peoples eyes, but I think that 7 is just a little bit hard, which I think it is. This game is like any other Pokémon game, you have to go through the game and try to beat every Pokémon trainer in the game, which you sometimes can't do because you don't have strong enough Pokémon, which means you have to go back and train enough to beat this trainer that is causing you trouble. The game in this since is not too hard, but when you have to go around and battle weaker trainers or wild Pokémon over and over without getting to heal, that is where you have to learn to put in strategy, which may take a lot of time and hard work. The game overall is not exactly too hard, which is why I game it a 7 in this section, that is just a tiny bit hard for me.

Overall, I would say that this is a game that you have to try. It is a great one that you need to try if you want to play a great game in a long space of spare time, not a short amount of time as the game is VERY addicting.
