Yet another Fire Red hack. But unlike the games that simply make the game so easy there is no point in really playing it or offering different catchable Pokémon in the wild, this one takes Pokémon and puts a new spin on it. Here you are actually a member of Team Rocket. The game is very short so I'm going to avoid giving you any spoilers, but the ultimate goal seems to be that as you start the game you're at the bottom, a grunt and then through the course of the game you rise through the ranks.

Graphics; 5 / 10: The Graphics are basically the same thing as Fire Red and nothing really stood out to me. Being a girl I played as the girl character and I found myself liking how she looked, but I disliked the pixel art for my partner character. It wasn't the outlines that were off, but rather the colours. It reminded me slightly of a zombie and coming from me that's not a compliment. But maybe that's me needing to put my glasses on. I'm rating the graphics 5/10 because it's basically copied graphics and the little that is written isn't anything that jumps out at you.

Sound 5 / 10:; My hatred for sound in video games is about as high as my hatred for ... actually, I don't think I hate anything more than the stupid repetitive sound tracks that seem to repeat themselves every 15 seconds. I did play the soundtrack for a few seconds to rate. During one room in the base nothing was playing, but in the main area of the base I heard a soundtrack directly from the main game itself. In Saffron City another track was playing, also copied directly from the main game. So once again I'm rating it 5 / 10 because you really can't give credit for something copied. The soundtrack could have been changed into something more dramatic fitting a "will I get caught" music, but instead it's really repetitive and dull.

Story 7/ 10: As I said before, the story of the game seems to be to allow you to rise through the ranks of Team Rocket by doing missions. There really isn't much else to say here. The trainers you battle are really hard and while I saw some reviews complaining about this, who really wants another "easy" Pokémon hack? The starter you get is Rattata and I happen to love Rattata and Raticate, so I didn't complain. Their Hyper Fang that you get early on is quite the powerful move. In my opinion. But the game does fall into the same pitfall as many promising games. While it has a nice idea, most of the changes I saw were in the script. You get the same TM from the same guy in Saffron City, with the only real difference being in what he says when he gives it to you. You can't walk up to anyone and demand things from them. Neither can you steal a Pokémon in the middle of a trainer battle when the whole point of Team Rocket is to steal Pokémon.  This really confuses me. It seems that you can not really steal anything if the plot doesn't call for it. But why not? All you can really do is talk to them and hope that they give things to you. The story also has a flaw in healing. Because you can't buy anything in Marts or use the Pokémon Center, healing is restricted to Fresh Water, Soda, Lemonade (bought at the base) and the Nurse Moe (think I got the name right) that is in the base. I'd love to be able to have to search for well hidden nurses that will heal my Pokémon in Secret. Sadly I didn't discover the lemonades until after my mission. So every time I got a status problem or lost HP I had to run between towns to heal. Something that really killed it. I really hope that the final version will not have me running from across the region simply because one Pokémon is poisoned.

Depth; 9/10: This game is only a beta and so I'm going to treat it as such. I'm not going to scream "oh, It's so short". The game gets a high rating here because while it does have flaws it still offers you a unique take on the Pokémon world. Instead of the classic "collect eight badges and become Champion in nothing but the name itself" you are playing the bad guy. But as I said, this game is flawed. One big plot in the original games was as simply as talking to one person in this version and this is really disappointing.

Difficulty 6/10 Lets be fair here. While the trainers at the start are difficult to beat, the moment you are high enough of a level to beat them the rest that follows really isn't a bit challenge. The mission is similar to the ones in the main game. It has a nice plot behind it, but it's really nothing harder than defeating trainers and then reading the text that follows.
So my overall score will be 5+5+5+7+9+6/6 = 6.2
I really hope this view is all right. This is my first in-depth review so it might not be as grand as many others out there. I tried to avoid spoilers because the game is very short and spoilers would ruin things. I really urge you to give this game a chance if you're looking for something a little different. This game has potential and I'm excited to see where it will be taken in the future.

AdorableCookie : Hey there! It's actually rare to see a girl reviewer! I like it! ..

This review was definitely raises standards. Your grammar and spelling were both really accurate. There were a lot of descriptions and details in this review which was excellent. There were some random capital letters in your review which really weren't necessary but I won't get into a huff about them! They're very minor anyways.

I love how you referred to being a girl and why you choose to be a certain character in the game; it's really nice to see that, well done!

You were a little abrupt in your review regarding sound, I see you have strong opinions which are fine as long as you justify your reasons and support it with evidence which you did clearly! I'm really impressed.

This was a great review and I would really advise you to keep writing them! You'll soon be the best if you believe you can be the best. I think you are definitely one the best female reviewers I've seen on the site, well done!

Overall; great review, great grammar and spelling, great detail and descriptions, a few minor errors here and there. I would just fix those errors before posting another review; this will ensure full professionalism!

Good Luck!

You are too kind. ^^ English is my third language and I do have dyslexia, so that might explain some of the errors in my review.
