pokemon is way better the show is better the games are better but i did have the digimon thing when i was little it ras rectangle shaped mine was red and you hatched a digimon from an egg to and adult? idk but it was freakin awesome it was..well the only cool digimon thing ive ever had so my vote goes to pokemon

well this is just me but i think pokemon is better just because there are so many difrent games and alot of difrent types and pokem i would have to say almost 1000000% pokemon

I'd have to say pokemon since digimon is like a spin-off of pokemon. And plus pokemon's anime is a lot better and pokemon has a lot more versions to play.

I really enjoyed the show Digimon, but I never played any of the games so I'm going to say Pokemon game-wise.

hmmm this would be extreamly hard for me cause during my childhood years i loved both animes a whole lot and would spend countless times watching both as much as possible. however, i would have to go with digimon instead of pokemon. being how i enjoyed digimon a whole lot and the fact that when season 2,3, ect came out i enjoyed all of them. pokemon however i only enjoyed season 1,2,3 the rest sorta bored me and i left pokemon so in the long shot i have to go with digimon

pokemon whoops digimon completely, at least in the recent seasons of pokemon I can understand the plot, they dont have a billion different main characters and ontop of that Pokemon still releases games that alot of people buy.

I loved them both (even though I have to admit that Pokemon wins in just about every category other than the show).

crashhat69 : Pokemon is clearly the better show because it was out way before Digimon or any other of the "Mon" cartoons. Digimon is just a rip off, copy wanna be amateur version of Pokemon, not nearly as famous.

I like pokemon best because it's far more fun to collect and train them rather than stick with one critter just like Digimon.

Personally I never really got into Digimon. Just didn't appeal to me.

I like Pokemon way better. I never followed Digimon at all, and to be honest it looks pretty crappy in my opinion.

Pokemon is definitely my favorite. Digimon was good for a little while just because it was a break from Pokemon. When it comes down to it, Pokemon is still better. The show is still classic and enjoyable. I would only watch Digimon today so I could remember what the main character looked like. The Pokemon games are still going strong and I still love all of them. I haven't seen a Digimon game that was good in a long time.

Pokemon Red and Green came out on February 27, 1996 in Japan. The first Digimon product was the Digimon virtual pet which came out in 1997.

Digimon was the copy. Pokemon is the original.

I love Pokemon because of how many there are. I can play the same game over and over again and still enjoy it because I can train a different team. I might enjoy only training one, but once it hits around level 50 it pretty much stops learning new moves.

I think here on Vizzed, Pokemon is the dominant power. I mean, come on, Digimon doesn't have it's own forum on vizzed.
