This shouldn't even be a poll. Of course Pokemon is and should have the upper-hand. Pokemon is original while Digimon is a rip-off. Even the name of the damn cartoon is a rip-off.

But as most shows, Pokemon got worse and worse as the years went by. Now Pokemon is full of pointless Pokemon with ridiculous names.

So I'll choose Pokemon (older seasons). Not the newbie and annoying Pokemon.

Although I'm a fan of both, Pokemon is the better of the two in my opinion. While it is true that Digimon is awesome (especially the third season, my favorite) Pokemon was the originator... Plus, which of the two produced better games? Pokemon.

I pick Pokemon because I never clinged onto Digimon. Pokemon had that special source of adventure. I like te original 4 seasons of Pokemon.

Pokemon was friendly and fun and you could train them to be stronger than the rest, BUT I'm gonna have to vote Digimon on this one.

In digimon, it was easy as can be to remember everything's name, I mean come on they each have MON at the end, how difficult is that?

Plus, they had a group of special people, called the digi-destined!!! How cool does that sound!?! Way cooler than team magma or whatever. Plus the handheld thing they carried around (how do I forget the name of that? it was my favorite gadget!) was awesome too! Plus the later episodes used cards to slide through the reader on the side, and it made em more powerful. I remember those cards giving their digimon wings and claws and stuff, it was cool.

In all honesty I think Digimon look cooler. Digimon world is a more fun game than any of the Pokemon games, hands down. There's way too many Pokemon, but I don' think there's that many digimon.

As far as popularity I'd say Pokemon wins. But I voted for Digimon for the simple fact that they are far stronger and can actually talk. No matter how hard Charizard fought, it would get its butt kicked by Graymon.
