I believe I have a temporary solution, which is a downgrade back to FireFox 21. You can download it from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/21.0/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%2021.0.exe

For users who don't live in America or don't speak English, they can choose their locale here:
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/21.0/win32/
and then download that copy of FireFox.

Once it is installed, go into the Advanced tab under Settings, click the "update" tab, and choose to either check for updates but not install, or never check for updates. I also disabled using the background service to update.

I currently have Super Smash Bros up and running fine.

Note: I do realize that it is considered unsafe to use an outdated version of Firefox, but some people prefer it over other browsers, and it works best in WINE on Linux, which is what I currently am using (So yes, RGR works on Linux!).

Hope this helps at all.

I used to use FireFox all the time then about 2 or so months ago it started crashing after awhile and the Flash Memory usage would go out of control so I had to stop using Firefox to play games for some time now. Especially if I was in the chat room at the same time, so this really doesn't surprise me.

Chrome seems to work the best for me as of now.

66shadowZ : Unless you're brand new to computers and have no idea that there's browsers besides Internet Explorer. But that's my idea.

It's pretty stupid that a mere update can take out any hope for playing in the RGR, but there's plenty of browsers to choose from that aren't crap.

Davideo7, Is it possible for someone or another to see the changes? Like, open the source code, or something, or to poke at Firefox's programming to see what changed.... There should be a Firefox change log, I'll try looking for it myself, but I don't know enough programming to dissect Firefox myself.

Yea I'm getting "The Plug-in not found" message with Fire Fox as well. Plus my Internet Explorer won't let me play it keep shutting down and rebooting the web page like stated earlier.

Has anyone tried Un installing the plug in, deleting it and downloading it again to see if Fire Fox will work with it?

I have no clue if it would work but it could be a solution.

playing these games on the regular Emulators is such a pain. It took me 20 minutes just to get through the first stage on Final Fight SNES using the java emulator.

That is not fun!

Please davideo7 figure this out ASAP because I love playing games on this site!

Ok thank you for trying MrKoolNerd. I didn't know if it would work but sometimes stuff like that does. It looks like I won't be playing Vizzed games that need the plug in for a while.

Could someone post a list of platforms that you can use without being super slow and glitchy with the other emulators? I know Regular Nintendo works fine with the older Emulators. I don't know what else does though.

I used to have Firefox, but when I seen Chrome, I downloaded Chrome, and that was all before I even knew about Vizzed, and I can say, it’s a great thing I did or otherwise I wouldn't play any games on here.

I find it strange how for some reason, the plug in still works on Firefox on my computer. I also don't remember doing any of the solutions suggested.

Yea I don't know what the difference could be. I have windows XP and neither my firefox or Internet explorer will allow me to play games using the plug in. It seems I'm just gonna have to play NES games for a while until this is fixed.

I have the same problem as Gojita. I am running an Windows XP, too. However, I don't run firefox due to the fact it slows down my computer, greatly. I have not been able to run the plug in on Chrome or Internet Explorer. For me, it comes up saying 'plug-in not found', even though I've uninstalled and re-installed it.

The fact that this is taking a good amount of time to just figure out the problem says something about this problem. It must be a tough one to figure out. All of us gamers pray for a quick fix!

Yeah.....I thought I was losing my mind for a few days about the potential issue.  I ended up going to back to IE.....but Google chrome is a good suggestion too.

Has anyone tried Shadow53's solution? Here it is again for those who didn't see it

downgrade back to FireFox 21. You can download it from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/21.0/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%2021.0.exe

For users who don't live in America or don't speak English, they can choose their locale here:
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/21.0/win32/
and then download that copy of FireFox.

Once it is installed, go into the Advanced tab under Settings, click the "update" tab, and choose to either check for updates but not install, or never check for updates. I also disabled using the background service to update.
