Basically I am trying to record some game play footage. Its the first time I have ever tried to record anything really. Messed around a lot got nowhere. Best I have been able to get is a very short, yet very wide picture of my videos. Any Info would be awesome.

Are you using the RGR Plugin to record, or an outside recording software?

I've never used Freemake so I don't really know how it works.

tRIUNE : You know how to use Freemake right? Can you help?

Freemake isn't actually that hard to use. Use these steps:

  1. To add the video, that you recorded via RGR plugin to Freemake, click on the +Video button at the top and choose the video.
  2. Click on the MPEG button at the bottom that looks like a TV.
  3. Choose the type of video quality (I choosed HD 1080p, but it worked perfectly and the video size shrinked a lot.) and where you want to save it.
  4. Click on convert.

Now you just have to wait until the video is ready. Then you can upload it.

Ok so I have done all of this and got a pretty good video that I want to upload. I just need to make the screen bigger. Its just a little tiny screen. If I upload it do you think it will automatically format it to be the same size as all other videos on youtube?

senosuke : I think so, but I don't understand why your video is tiny now. Anyway, I would just try it.

senosuke : What system  are you trying to record? Actually from What I've noticed Is the screen is actually turns out pretty small, I don't think this issue can be fixed, because I've tried this with Sega genesis games And the screen resoultion turned out small due to recording it with medafen.  Also You messed with some stuff? If you could try explaning what stuff you tweaked that could probably help us out to try and figure out this problem

It was the playstation. No matter what I did, nothing would change. It just stayed the same. Some weird crappy thin resolution.

senosuke : For some reason Mame and playstation Have recording issues.. Where the screen gets cropped and the game has a weird transparent effect, I'd recommend you try a On screen recorder for trying to record games like mame and ps1 games.
