Graphics: 4/10The graphics literally hurt my eyes... Some tiles are really brightly colored, and some are dark... Which hurts my eyes slightly... There are some tile errors in the tree's, and on water, and there's way to much colors, so it's hard to understand where your going, and where to go. The speeches (When other people talk), is to big, and hard to read, since its all pixelated... I've got to say, these aren't the best graphics you'll see, and the graphics here are quite poor.The good thing about them, that there aren't a lot of errors on the main part of the map/area, only in the tree's, but I'm guessing that could be ignored, it's not going to crash your game or anything. Some areas look a bit strange too, i think it's because of the colors. A good example is the sea/water. The sea its self is blue, then has yellow lines on it? And caves have something purple on it... This just confuses me...Sound: 4/10Yes, just like with the graphics, the sound hurts my ears, and its a lot more worse than the Graphics. The music playing in the background starts of low, then starts playing a really high pitch sound constantly. If you are planning to play this game, it is recommended for you to play with no music at all, because I am getting headaches from the music... On the other hand, the tempo of the music is fine, it's just the pitch of it, which annoys you...Addictiveness 2/10If you want honesty, i won't play this game again... If this is your first time, you'd probably play it for around 20 minutes, to try and figure out how to play it, or figure out what to do, then you'll get bored and annoyed of it, and you won't play it anymore. This is an opinion. I do not like this game, because the sound hurts my ears (I know i can mute, but i prefer playing games with music), the graphics and colors hurt my eyes too, because there are some very bright tiles, and some really dark ones, which confuses me. And it's hard to understand the purpose of the game. The controls are different to, i don't know how to change it, i guess it's already the games set controls.

Yeah, well i didn't gt so far in the game, due to it being unbelievably confusing, and making me rage and quit, but i can tell that the story is just lame...It confusing... You wake up, you mom gives you a Kakuna, you go outside and then what? She doesn't tell you where to go, or what to do. I've went into everyone's houses, talked to everyone, explored all the areas, but nothing... Even if there is a story, it's probably not going to be that great, because i can already tell by the quality of the game.Depth: 3/10
Like i said, I rage quited the game, so i only had about 40 minutes game play... After your mom gives you a Kakuna, she doesn't tell you what to do, or where to go. Your stuck in a town, and you have no idea what to do. I've went everywhere, but still not success, there's some caves, but you cannot enter them, due to boulders blocking the way, so i honestly don't know what to do. The game seems quite short... It looks like an old game, and old games are normally quite short, but this is my opinion.Difficulty 5/10:
Yeah, the games hard... Because you don't know what to do early in the game, there's not guide and no instructions, and the controls have changed, and you cannot change them because their the game default controls. It's hard to learn the controls, and are irritating. Most areas in the first town are blocked out by objects, like the caves are blocked out by boulders, and some houses are locked, meaning you cannot get in them, and there is no map in the game.

Overall, this game isn't the best. Sound will hurt your ears, and if your planning to play this game, it is recommended for you to mute it. Graphics will hurt your eyes, due to some brightly colored tiles, and some dark colored tiles. Game is confusing because you won't know what to do once you started playing the game. There's almost nothing to do, and nowhere to go. All areas like caves and houses will be blocked out, houses will be locked, and cave roads will be blocks by huge boulders. There are no guides and no instructions, and nobody in the game tells you what to do and where to go. There's some getting used to the controls, since they are different in the game. The start menu is the most confusing, because you won't know what to do. You will need to press Enter, then use WASD to change your name and press enter when your done.
There are a few glitches, like the tile glitches. In the tree's the tiles are placed in a wrong order, and wrong color, but overall, there aren't that many glitches, it's just the quality of the game and the purpose of the game which ruins the game its self.I'm guessing this would be a good game, only if all the annoying parts, like the music and graphics would be fixed of changed.There also should be a map in the game, or a guide... Because you get a Kakuna and then you have no Idea what to do...Also this is meant to be a Pokemon Game. I don't understand why I am seeing Mario in the game... I can see Chain Chomp near a house, right in the first town... And i don't understand the use of it being here in this game, since this is a Pokemon Game, not a Mario game.
The game looks fine, it's the quality which ruins it... And that's a shame, but i hope this game will be updated soon. |
