Well, it's time for a game that takes off right after Parappa The Rapper believed...
Introducing, the newest addition to the Parappa world... UmJammer Lammy!
Graphics- 8/10
With the same flat graphics like the Parappa The Rapper series, UmJammer Lammy hits us off with a new way to believe... believe in your instruments. UmJammer Lammy is known to be a "DJ" or "musician" of some sort, and now she's trying to make it big in this world... but there is one problem, she just doesn't believe. Well, some (if not most) of the old gang is back... to help her "believe" and achieve her dreams. With the flat and hilarious graphics that Parappa The Rapper had, how could you not enjoy another re-hash of that game?
Sound- 9/10
Just like the Parappa The Rapper series, UmJammer Lammy comes with some more amazing songs and even some older ones rebuilt in order to match her style. Each stage brings a whole new test to the challenge, and now you will play your guitar until your fingers bleed... you will jam so hard that the crowd will cheer your name for ages, you will then hopefully meet Parappa The Rapper, and see how far you two can go in this world.
Addictiveness- 8/10
Much like Parappa The Rapper, this game is extremely addictive and very catch with its music. You will end up spending maybe a few hours or so on it... just to hear the music over and over again, and if you don't want to hear her music... just replace it with Parappa The Rapper's music. It's a fun game for kids, but an even more amusing game for teenagers and possibly some adults as well.
Story- 6/10
Along with the original story about Parappa The Rapper fresh in our minds, UmJammer Lammy decides to take up the stage, in order to progress far in her life... she has to believe. Whether or not you like this new "addition" to the game series, you cannot help but smile and enjoy it... simply because the music is refreshing, the artwork is silly and the game is even too wild sometimes. UmJammer Lammy takes off on foot as a girl ready to pursue her dreams as a "DJ" or as a "Musician", but its up to you to figure out what path she should pursue.
Depth- 2/10
Just like with Parappa The Rapper, you honestly didn't have a whole lot to do in the game but click the required buttons to complete the challenges... and you would not progress until you did so. Other than that, it does provide a lot of hard work and dedication to get past all of them... as well as to avoid dancing to the music ringing through your screen.
Difficulty- 5/10
Much like Parappa The Rapper, as the song progresses so does the level of difficulty... if you have previously played Parappa The Rapper, then this shouldn't be as difficult... but then again, even I have played Parappa The Rapper and I was messing up so much I felt like tossing my controller out the window.
Overall, this is a MUST HAVE game... and before you get this one, be sure to play the Parappa The Rapper series, then try playing this afterwards.
