First off, this game should be labeled as a DEMO and not a full game.  

You have a choice of only three characters, Kyo, Iori and Leona.  vs the full one where you get about 16 I think (including multiple versions of characters such as orochi versions), but of course that's not covered in THIS demo.

Controls are pretty simple,  graphics and sprites were about as expected for the neo Geo pocket.  There was no "story" since its was a demo, even if it wasn't the text is all in Japanese anyway. After wining or losing the battle you are treated to a "trailer" of stuff you should see in the FULL version.  

I would highly recommend changing this title to indicate that its a Demo and not the full game though, so no one would come expecting the full experience/story.

There wasn't really much to review since the game was over within 5 minutes though.  If there's a copy of the full game here on the site, I can do a much more in-depth one (since I've played that one a lot on my Neo Geo pocket as well)

That being said, you are more than welcome to sell the game back to regain some of your Viz.

I like this game, i usually play as Iori because he is more versatile and I think his moves are pretty strong. Second would be Ryu, his haoduken is pretty strong too. I like this game and I have played it a few times as well. Try to make your reviews more in depth by adding your thoughts about each category and score them accordingly and say why you gave them that particular score. I try to make my reviews as descriptive and informative as well as add as many details as possible so I can convince a person who has never played the game how good it is and for them to play it. Hope you can find the full game and review more in depth

Okay mystery is solved.  This game in particular is indeed a DEMO (even the graphics indicate you are playing as a trial team), the game thats a copy of the exact same neo geo pocket game I'm holding in my hands is https://www.vizzed.com/play/king-of-fighters-r2-version-2-ngpc-online-neo-geo-pocket-color-36835-game  that is the full game.  This one may have been a sample game bundled with the neogeo pocket system at launch.  I would still recommend that the title of this game be labeled a (demo version) while the other is the actual version.  now that I've located the real one, i'll be able to keep my earlier promise and give a better more in-depth review.  (after i beat it with more than just my fave team of course)
