What do you think now that they've rolled religious and Christian threads into the general political discussion?

That seems incorrect to me.  Keep the religion away from the other discussions.  And if this is a change that happened a while ago, never mind.  My mistake.

warmaker : I don't get what you mean by this. The debate forum has always have religion threads and is meant for that. The Christian forum is exclusively for topics relating to Christianity. As for religious input in political discussions, it is bound to happen. When you are talking about religion, you are not just talking about opinions of the supernatural, but also about worldview. What one beliefs affect how one views life and how one acts on their beliefs. So when it comes to political discussions, religion plays a big role in it because it is how one defines what is right and wrong and how the world should go through with their lives as well as limitations as humans and their relation to God/lack of God.

Why not. Though I have always had trouble seeing the difference between theological issues here and between the Christian forum.

Well maybe here is not the best place for some virtual bible classes. But why should there be no religious threads? It is a classic example of logic against belief and it will always cause debate. If somebody is not happy with how this part of the forum looks like then post more topics you think would be more suiting, right?

It just comes down to people's interest in the topic or their attention span.
