(Overall) Deep Duck Trouble was a Disney licensed game make by Sega for the Sega Game Gear and Master System and was released in 1993. Deep Duck Trouble is a platformer and a very good one at that. You can kill your enemies by jumping on there head or by kicking a block at them. In some blocks you will find things to heal you or things to raise your score. Items that heal you include ice cream cones one point and turkey full heal. This game has a map screen similar to the one in Quackshot, another great Donald Duck game. You can pick which level you want to play, so you can skip all around the map or go in order. Each level has a unique theme and design. The first level is the jungle. In this level you will encounter enemies such as rats, bugs that roll at you, strange dog heads that come out of holes in the ground, ostriches, snails, and snakes. The first level boss is a gorilla that swings from vine to vine dropping acorns at you. Level two is an underwater level. Most underwater levels are a pain in the neck, but this one is pretty enjoyable. Some of the enemies you will see are different kinds of fish, urchins, and clams. The second level boss is a shark. Level three is a volcano. Some enemies you will see are bats, jumping bugs, and moles that throw rocks. This level doesn't really have a boss, you have to keep climbing up while the lava rises. Level four is called  the valley. Some enemies you will see in this level are bees, and goats. After you beat the first scene of level four you are sent to an ice cavern. Some enemies you will encounter in the ice cavern are yetis, and narwhals that you use to get across the cold water. The boss for this level is a giant flamingo. Level five is called the shrine. There are not a lot of enemies in this level. Most of the things you will have to deal with are spikes. So many spikes! Some enemies in this level are ghosts, fire spiting heads, and spear wielding statues. There is no boss in level five. You have to ride a log down the river and not be knocked off by bats. It is harder then you think because it might take you a few tries to figure out what to do. Level six the statue. This is the last level of the game. You will have to avoid flying fire spitting head and is probably the easiest level of the game. After that you are at the final boss! The boss has a very predictable pattern and shouldn't be to hard to beat. Overall this game is a lot like Quackshot in many ways and very different in many ways. This game is a awesome platformer.

(Graphics) The graphics are like eye candy! I could tell you that this game is on a 16 bit console and you would probably believe me. The game is actually on the 8 bit Sega Game Gear and Master System. Each level has a very unique look to it. The backgrounds are crazy detailed and look great. As far as graphics go this is one of the best looking games on the Game Gear and the Game Gear has a lot of very impressive graphics in its game library. Overall it is very nice to look at.

(Sound) Each level has its own different sound. The music is pretty catchy but I do like the music in Quackshot better. The music is up beat and pretty enjoyable. Turn up the volume and jam out!

(Addictiveness) This game is very fun and should be one you would want to play more then just once. There are tons of enemies, crazy level designs, and some fast and fun game play. Beware! If you play this game you might not want to stop!

(Story) The basic story of this game is that uncle scrooge took a cursed pendant and Donald has to put every thing that scrooge has took back to where it belongs. It has an interesting story but it doesn't go as deep as it could. If you have no clue about the story you could play the game just fine. I have seen a lot of platformers with less or no story so its nice to see a little bit of story in this.

(Depth) Deep Duck Troubles only has six levels and two scenes for each level. This really shouldn't take you more then an hour to beat. So the game is not long but its on a handheld so you really can't complain.

(Difficulty) This game is not really hard but there are some parts that will give you trouble. You have to figure out ways to get to the next level in some parts. The boss battles are not very hard once you get the hang of it. In all of the battles except the final boss you are constantly in motion and have to avoid falling off platforms and other hazards. The ice level is the one I have the most trouble with because it takes time to get going and is hard to stop after you get going because the floor is made of ice. The final boss is hard but not that hard, she has a very predictable pattern. Overall the game is not super hard but its not a walk in the park ether.
