Alright time to do another game review this 1 is the squeal to the original tekken game. I've gotten through much of the series so far now I'm reviewing this game. So please enjoy the review of tekken 2.

1st off before you play you may want to make sure you have a game pad or something. Because game pads are mostly likely suited for this type of game. Plus some moves combos and grappling attacks all require mutil directional button presses at the same time.

Now 1 that I found good so far  because playing tekken 2 it runs at a nearly perfect speed. If you played like the ps1 version or arcade version of the game. Which is a good thing considering this was a 3d fighting game(reason why is because most 3d fighters "aka" the mame/arcade ones seems to really lag a lot) (play tekken 3 on here and then go play this 1. You'll know what I'm talking about if you've done that)I've notice a little bit of slow down here and there in tekken 2,but regardless this game is probably gonna get as fast as it can be on this site. (note the game maybe really slow also depending on your Internet speed too) anyways moving on.

Graphics: The early 3d polygon stage of the tekken series or in general 3d fighting games. Because this is what they would use back in the day. Really taking a look at the previous tekken 1 you could see how much of a improvement namco made of this squeal (like other fighting companies they would make squeals and improve things about it) (sprites:  in the original tekken game the sprites themselves were rather alright. Because to me they looked really squished and just badly pixelated polygon characters. They were ok for the time being in my opinion. As for tekken 2s style of sprites they are greatly improved as characters look much more naturally sized and less pixelated. All characters have a unique amount of style to it that always impressed me about the series.because of their different style and extra costumes.that makes the characters feel awesome and it separates each character from feeling, looking or being the same. Only thing that I didn't understand about the characters was namco not putting them in tekken 3, But they later putted them in tekken tag tournament which was basically almost the same game.anyways in other words great improvement of sprites when compared to the original tekken game) (animation good animation here. Each of the characters got different stances and they always seem to look cooler and greater in my opinion.as for tekken 2 it pretty much goes the same way from improving upon the original tekken game. The animation is great here and all characters have their neat blows. And winning stances in other words good animation as usual) (stages simple peaceful destructive and awesome stages here exactly what a tekken game should have. Many stages are peaceful such as Jun kazama's stage because it has simple grass looks like a farmers land and other stuff. The stages themselves are generally well done and look good for the time this was released. The stages themselves are rather 2d shaped into like a 3d fourm.sort of the main stuff you would see in 3d games at the time. anyways good stages) graphics rating 10

Sound. Each of the sound variety's is excellent and it flows just good enough that it works really really well with the characters .The grunts in the game are furious blast along with your classic ko sound effect.that always gets a good impression on me when I knock out someone. Each of the tekken sound variety's was always cool and had a great amount of variety as for tekken 2 it still pretty much rather even rivals the newer like tekken 6 in my opinion.Because that's just how much the game feels close enough in sound variety.you have your basic smash and blow sound effects it continues to be an epic variety for quite a long time and that's a good thing time)(soundtrack well composed even better then the arranged version in the ps1 version of tekken 2. Regardless the ps1 soundtrack was good but some theme's like yoshimistu have just gotten completely boring and not really fun to listen to. As for this original arcade version the soundtrack remains well deadly composed in a good way.although the Soundtracks in here feel as if they need a little more ump to the beat.(Marshall laws theme and the character select would be an example. As some of the beats feel a little too tiny in my opinion.Regardless still some pretty good stuff in this tekken 2 game). Sound rating 9 only flaw I've mentioned was the tiny beat parts in the soundtrack

Addictiveness and the depth of tekken 2. The tekken franchise was mainly fun for pulling off combos controlling characters smoothly and the pure pleasure of the character screaming a giant grunt and the announcer with his famous ko sound effect that is epic. (tekken 2 has some less moves that you can pull off when compared to the newer games) regardless tekken 2
is a great game 1 that is worthy of being a great fighting game. Depth sadly all the arcade versions of tekken was in the playstation's versions of the game) the ps1 version of tekken 2 had more features like classic mode endings survival and other stuff etc. as in this arcade version theres just arcade mode to do. if you want to practice with certain characters. You will just have to master you're skills in arcade mode.Or press 2p and make player 2 your practice dummy. So that's another option. Anyways addictiveness rating 8. depth rating 6

Story: I guess all the tekken arcade games never had a storyline or character ending as. They included that stuff in the playstation versions. It's probably because this game was not really meant to be storyline based as it's meant to be really fun. Enjoyed well and just for the heck of you spending many quarters. Anyways I guess all the arcade versions of the tekken games really just wanted the players to have fun and not be too focused on A storyline. Like all other tekken games the ending just says you are the champion and it shows how much time you took to beat the entire game. As well show off your footage from replay at the end. 1 thing I liked was the ending theme because it took a new the theme and remixed it with the tekken 1 character select and fiji or beach theme. Story rating still blank here.

Difficulty. Pretty easy once you get the hang of the tekken gameplay and other stuff etc.And
the ai doesn't really provide me much challenge at all because of their cheap move sets.even people like devil was pretty easy for me to defeat. Difficulty rating 5 usual standards. The controls work just fine in this game.

Overall tekken 2 is a classic great and fun game overall rating 9.6
