That would be very cool in008. Maybe Super smash brothers brawl with any legend of zelda game. They are both very popular, so it would be interesting to see. Super smash brothers brawl is a great game, I play it all the time.

You obviously missed the concept.
I took the idea of Soul Calibur 2 And Zelda O.O.T.
And Mashed them up.
I also alluded to using componets of Robin Hood.
I think that having the Star of one franchise Breath new life in another would add a new Feature to max the amount of time a person can play a single game. The Fighting game aspects would serve as a point of ending to a level. Pre-Boss fights or Mini Boss Fights. Each of those bosses should have a Gaurdian that tests The Main Characters Abilities In a strait forward Manner.

Some Could be Recruited depending on how you defeat them.

I like stories with a twist.
I also like using Technology that already exists to meet the demands of what could be the best money making idea of the century.

Forgive me if the idea is too "stale".
