ender44 : Exactly my point. Dedication shows that they would be more willing than someone who goes on every so often when they feel like. By 1000 posts the user should understand how everything works between the staff and Vizzed and would be more eligible and prepared. Think of the 1000 posts as an initiation. Though it would have to be something like a certain percentage limit on the spam forums such as crazy house otherwise undeserving users could get it willy-nilly.

marcushoward : the amount of time had nothing to do with your staff status and that thread you mentioned was an old one from over two months ago. (which in turn I decided to bring back into discussion.)

tails the fox : I think 250 posts would be better. If it takes 1,000 posts to become trusted there will be a massive shortage of trusted members. The position would mean more, but it would be less fun for the trusted members. 

iN008 : What I assumed he meant was depending on how long a user has been on Vizzed that should play a factor in determining if that user should become trusted.

tails the fox : Seems fair enough. Also another good system would be that you go to a page then you say who you want to rate, how many Tp you want to give, and why. If your reasons are legit then that person would be awarded the TP. The staff would review this. To make sure there isn't bias possibly three staff members have to review it and whatever the majority of them think goes...

i really hope they do join in, these ideas are really good. i think that these ideas for TP should be made into reality.

Yes, definitely. I have seen various users (not saying who) that definitely do, or definitely don't deserve to be Trusted Members. I can spot 1 user that has posted in this thread, that when I see his username I think, "Why the heck isn't his username underlined?" And, of course, if there's a really untrustworthy user, he's bound to have a really good friend that's a trusted member, who will give him trust points. Then, there's users that will be really trustworthy (this isn't as much of a problem) and be a Trusted Member, but he will have someone that is jealous of that user or hate that user, and have trust points taken away.

TheFadedWarrior : That is why a system is getting figured out so that those who would 'play around' with trust points don't get them in the first place. Perhaps a system of decimal system for if they are on each others friends list.

tails the fox : well still. those are users im glad the new system is helping out because those that rate people  and they didnt do anything. a staff will rate that person to reduce trust abuse. But Still even with that there needs to be something done. because not everyone rates the same person. But yea  you really  have to know a person to give and earn their trust. im not sure how people being on each other friends list  can have anything to do with TPs happening to other users so you had lost me there. friends list is just how  many users are wanting and had becomed friends of yours. Still im thinking. I Personally say. trust points should be earned on how well a user is known. and what possible or great stuff he/she has done. People getting rated for no reasons at all is just really unfair to other members that deserve the trust points.

TheFadedWarrior : The problem most of the time is the fact trusted users rarely bother to give out tp, and if you go below 4 tp as a trusted member you cannot rate anyone.

Barathemos : I know what user you are talking about and I just want it know for all uses and competitors in the TDV you will not become trusted by winning a jersey if fact that user became trusted because he/she makes high quality reviews and threads and respects all members of the board

If someone is a trusted member they are allowed to give points out however they wish. If they want to give out points to people who don't deserve them then that is their choice.
