Personally I have tons of characters I want on the new Super Smash Bros. but the main one I want to see is Toon Tetra/Zelda from Wind Waker.

i think that for the Brawl Ball, there should be multiple things that might happen. like for samus, every now and then, instead of releasing a hyper beam, she might call her ship to bomb the place with its missiles, or she could drop a power bomb or something. but yeah, that might be pretty cool

Megaman:
Standard: normal shot (hold to charge)
up+B:The dog will spring you up to safety (forgot the dogs name)
side B: megaman will slide
Down b: megaman will pick up a boulder and throw it
Final smash: all his powers combined guaranteeing Instant death to anyone in range.

I would love to see Megaman make an appearance in brawl, but the chance of that are slim to none. He just feels too different for Nintendo to include him, but hey, they had Ness in there!

I've got a few suggestions for the next Smash Brothers, but before I get to the characters, let me explain what I want to see...

• I want to see the elimination of clones. Clones are nothing but laziness in programming, in my opinion, and I really think it hurts the franchise to see Ganondorf (who has a sword and should be capable of using it) using the same move-set as Captain Falcon. The same goes for Fox, Falco, and Wolf, and any other clone you can think of. There is no reason that each of these characters can't use their own abilities to succeed, but I felt the developers and the programmers were just lazy and thought they could get away with not actually doing the work.
• The online mode needs to be improved, BIG TIME. Smash Bros Brawl could still be extremely popular today if the online mode was fixed to have a ranking system, servers that actually worked, codes that weren't 12 digits long (after putting in a ridiculous 16 digit code to begin with!), and no choice in your settings. Include an online tournament mode, some form character skills or improvements (earned by winning games or making kills), and perhaps a completely separate team element (where you rank up in single player matches differently than team-based matches).
• 8-16 players in a larger match. This might be a bit TOO much, but I definitely think that the game would have a whole new feel when you have 7 players to worry about instead of just 3.
• A game mode after you've unlocked each character, where you have to fight all the characters, gauntlet-style, which unlocks a map or something special at the end.
• A legitimate story mode...
  

Now, as far as characters go...

• Geno: Ever popular puppet from Super Mario RPG, people want him, and I think he needs to be allowed to go in. I think that would be difficult, however, especially if Square Enix has rights to him as a character.
• Waluigi: Why not? Mario, Luigi, Wario and Waluigi. If we're adding characters (which I think each game should expound upon the last), I don't see why Waluigi couldn't be a character.
• Wolf Link: I think he was a lot of fun to play in Twilight Princess, especially teamed with Midna, this could really prove to be an interesting character to use.
• Isaac and Fenix: Two protagonists of the first two Golden Sun games, I think they would prove to be good additions to the game. I haven't played the third Golden Sun, but if you wanted to choose a character from one of those, I wouldn't be upset.
• Bowser Jr.: Adult Link? Toon Link? Adult Bowser. Bowser Jr.
• I'm not privy to the new Pokemon games, but I think some of the new Pokemon should be implemented (to replace Pokemon trainer...).
• The Hero from the Dragon Warrior/Quest Games: I'm a big fan of the old-school Dragon Warrior games, and adding a character like this would really make me happy.
• Lyndis, Eirika, Ephraim, Eliwood, Elincia: Fire Emblem characters galore! I love Fire Emblem, bring on the Fire Emblem characters!
  

This is some of what I'd like to see in the next Smash Bros.

I really want to see a more structured version of the multi-player...
hanging on edges whilst bombs drop is just sad.

Secondly I myself personally want a new skin system as in how you can change colors in brawl.
This would include things such as a shadow the hedgehog skin in place of sonic or
A Wind-Waker Ganon instead of the Twilight princess Ganon.

This would be far one of my favorite features if it was to be added in SSMB4.
Besides that I want to see a major re-balance for certain individual characters such as meta knight, he can move fast and do high damage which makes him one of the best characters to play as in the current game.

This and finally I want the clones gone... they can be replaced by my skin Idea above.
This would free up more space for third party candidates which we all want to see.
Next as mentioned by pray75 I want to see a new Pokemon trainer. I don't want to be playing as Red all the time.
In fact the ability to play as Nate, Rosa, May and so on would be amazing for me.

Last but not least. Items get a severe re-do.
Items like the fan are cheap and are used mainly for spam which in my opinion is the worst.
The wost offender has to be the lazor gun  since that's sole use is to push opponents off the stage.

Whilst on the topic of stages. I want to see major changes to certain maps. Such as removal of the more stupid stages *cough* Picto-chat *cough* and more stages from third party locations.

I really wished that the new Smash Bros. game would include some characters OUTSIDE Nintendo games. There's so many AWESOME ones out there in other fictions. Even the online Super Smash game included some of them!!! I am hoping to see some characters from famous Japanese anime like Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach), Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto), and Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece), etc. anime characters. SSB series are really limited of combat with only Nintendo game characters. These action anime characters will really bring the really climax to combat to SSB series and I'm looking forward to it!!! Add some of these characters to Assist Trophies too!!! The new game's adventure mode is literally going to rock with these new characters!!!!! 

i would love to see a new super smash bros but they should add more pokemon and give red a complete pokemon team just cause hes cool and POKEMON IS AWESOMLY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why not put him in all of the fighting games.


Another interesting character would be another "Bruce Lee" look alike game character again.

A character I would want to see in the new super smash bros. Game is a new Pokémon trainer with a full team of six Pokémon, at least half being unlocked in story mode but each one balancing out each other with none of the Pokémon being to overpowered or underpowered.

Nintendo is already making a new Super Smash Bros they reveled it at E3 or something like that, and they are having old characters playable in it as well as some new characters like Megaman and some planter guy from a Ds game franchise. I think the new Super Smash Bros game they are making will be a new outlook and reboot of the franchise people seem to enjoy. 

penzycubone : Good news for you is Megaman is confirmed to be in the new super smash bros game.

I would like some of the characters such as Toon Link become a unlockable skin for Link and possibly Toon Zelda as a skin as well since Sheik is basically the Tetra.

they could have like rocket attacks or certain moves with pokemon but you would actually fight as the person

If Mega Man is in it, I want to fight at least ONE robot master or fortress boss.

I'd like to see Mewtwo return, and maybe it could switch between it and it's new form like Zelda and Sheik. I'd also like to see a better story mode, and twice as much content as Brawl. 

I'd like to see Toon Gannon from windwaker since he was on a whole new level from regular Gannon. He had dual swords and could block from behind.

Another great edition would be Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles. I know a lot of people are hoping for him.

I would personally like to see a variety of characters instead of the generic cast of like 15 super mario characters. Well maybe not 15 but it's just strange having mario, luigi, peach, bowser, wario, yoshi, etc and then just 1 character from other franchises... 2 at the most.

I want DDD back since he was my fav in brawl. Say what you want about him being garbage, he was by far the best.

Here's an original thought, I'd like to see Ziggy from Xenosaga. Out of the main characters I think he'd be the most well rounded for Smash Bros and seeing "Hell Fire" or "Executioner" as a final smash would be priceless.

And finally, any character from final fantasy. I don't care if it's kefka, sephi, cloud, terra, tidius, seymour, squall, etc.. I just want an excuse to put summons in the game. Even if it's just an assist trophy or some super nerfed attack.
