Dog Days is my favorite anime. Why? It has the only fictional world I'd want to live in. Imagine living in a world where war is harmless fun that's just there to decide who gets to decide the next celebration and the only difference between the people there and on Earth is that they have animal ears and tails and live in a medieval setting. If you're a human, you''re a valuable hero of a country with extra magic and strength whose power is limited to one's will and imagination. There is a reason why how the world got to be like that, but spoilers.  I reccomend watching it if you can handle the cuteness and battle scenes.

Steins;Gate is my favorite anime of all time (it's an adaption of a visual novel of the same name, and occurs sometime after Chaos;Head and some-odd number of years before Robotics;Notes). Steins;Gate is about time travel, not like Doctor Who where there is time travel in it, but it looks at the idea of time travel pretty closely and does a damn good job. I love both Fate Stay Night and Fate Zero (more visual novel-based anime!) and think they do a pretty good job, although I think Stay Night may have had a little bit of fanservice, but not too much. I like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood blah blah blah so does every other person who has ever watched anime. Code Geass was enjoyable for me, despite the hot mess that it became near the end. Death Note was great most of the way through but I despise the ending.

I really think the show should have just ended when L died.
I recently finished an anime called Another about death and stuff, although it's only like 12 episodes or something. 

Note: I didn't underline Chaos;Head because it's god awful. Don't watch it, as it has no real affect on Steins;Gate or Robotics;Notes besides a few stupid references. I mean it, don't watch it.

My most current favorite anime has to be D.Grayman as the entire series got me into watching subs due to the whole lets be derps to funimation because they are kinda jerks thing. I did love the way the characters were portrayed the story was decent and even the struggles it really had that dark tone with a few light hearted moments spattered about mainly the way it was even glanced at made my day I truly appreciate it as a anime and always comes up on my list of nostalgia animes.

My favorite anime is Ghost in the Shell hands down. I'm surprised and mildly disappointed no else has mentioned it. Personally I consider GitS a work of art in its depth and scale. Things brought up in the show may soon become real issues, like the disparity between body and mind, due to the ever strong forward march of technology. My top ten in no particular order are:

Favorite anime: DBZ and Inuyasha because they were my childhood anime, oh you do not know how much I still love inuyasha. Right now in the present I like fairy tale a lot it is the perfect mix of comedy, shounen and much more. I also like No game no life because we can all admit the protagonists in that series are totally epic, Sword Art Online is like my holy thing right now I finished the anime and liked it so much that I had to go and search for the light novel. Now I have re-read the plot already covered by the anime and I must say the anime adaptation is one of the best I've ever seen I must say there was no plot details that it missed, it even added some more. If you ever need someone to recommend you light novels, manga or anime I am one of those people. Good day to you people reading this
