For the most part, this game is perfect for the youngin's.

Game-play:  This game has little to no learning curve, which again cements that it is perfect for very young kids. You use the D-pad (or arrow keys) to control a little magnifying glass. Clocks and little '150' bonus points can be found around the maps, and stick out easily if you look for them. The clocks give you extra time in case it runs out, and the left over adds onto the totals after you complete each level. The main goal besides finding Waldo is locating his scroll. His doggy is out hiding around too, and you get to play a bonus-game if you find him. (Think Aladdin riding his flying carpet).

Controls: This game has very easy controls, no tutorial necessary. You can use a combination of the keys to move diagonally, which is very nice.  So far, I have only noticed a use for 'z' within the menu. 'X' is used through-out.

Graphics: The graphics are bright and colorful, they are true to the books. The maps are very intriguing to look at, and there is even some slight animation mixed in.

Sound: The music was cheerful, and ran on a loop. To my surprise, it did not get irritating after a few minutes like most midi's of this type do. It was all around pleasant to listen to, and fit the game.

Depth: There's a set number of maps to choose from, with 2 choices of difficulty, 'normal' and 'expert' (or was it extreme?).

Overall: This is fun, and is nice to play to kill some time. However, I don't see myself running back to my laptop just to play this. It was fun for a try out, but I feel that's about it.
