This game is one classic game that will never be forgotten. The game play is very tight. And with the new slide ability, there are so many things you can do now like, slide under enemy attacks, slide in tight spaces, and slide through the door. Also you have a new partner: Rush the robotic dog. He can either turn into a submarine, become a hover board for Mega Man, or he can have Mega Man bounce high.
GRAPHICS: The graphics in Mega Man 3 were just like any other NES game but what made them stand out was the backgrounds. The two backgrounds that caught my eye were Shadow Man's and Top Man's. Very colorful and alive.
SOUND: The sound and music were great. I mean the title theme was the best music in the game. It was so wonderful to hear that many sounds in a NES game and have it all sound good. All the normal stages also had that kind of music as well.
ADDICTIVENESS: This game is very addicting. That is because it's very fun to play all those levels because of how hard and crazy they all are. For instance, in Hard Man's stage there is this part where you have to use Rush's jump ability instead of using a ladder and also while trying to dodge the Hammer Joe's projectiles.
STORY: The story is huge and here's the story to prove it. After Mega Man defeats Dr. Wily in Mega Man 2, he suddenly becomes a good guy and makes eight more robots with the help of Dr. Light. Then the robots "malfunction" and Mega Man has to stop them. Mega Man then meets a new character named Proto Man. While Mega Man is gone Dr. Light and Dr. Wily start to make a super robot. Before it is complete, though, Dr. Wily takes away the unfinished robot to have it do his bidding. After Mega Man defeats all eight robots he goes back to check on the Doctors. He finds out a bout Dr. Wily and goes to go get him. Dr. Wily also has remade four of the Mega Man 2 robots' powers and put them into four Doc robots. After Mega Man defeats those robots, him and Proto Man have a big battle. After chasing off Proto Man, Mega Man goes to defeat Dr. Wily. When Mega Man gets to Dr. Wily, he finds out that Dr. Wily has completed the super robot. The battle rages on and Mega Man barely defeats the super robot. He has once again, defeated Dr. Wily. That is the story for Mega Man 3.
DEPTH: The game is a long one and has many things to offer. The story also helps me explain that depth. Mega Man 3 is one of the biggest Mega Man games I have ever played.
DIFFICULTY: The difficulty of the game is huge but still easy. It's usually the level that's harder than the boss. Like in Needle Man's stage there are spikes and needles and bottomless pits. Spikes are a one hit kill for Mega Man. And you only have a limited supply of health, with of course the E tanks which restore all your energy. One of the hardest games I have ever played on a NES.
