Yeah today was probably the toughest day to get on the top 5 and will probably be the most posts in a single day for the entire competition.

well... school is letting out right now.... once a lot of the kids in school have entire days off over the next few weeks we might get a higher day.

I'm actually surprised I got as many posts as I did.... I was quite busy today.

oh, I broke 600 posts for the last 30 days! I just had to point this out. I'm totally on a roll. I figured if I average 30 posts a day which is the bare minimum I'll need to maintain a healthy point total to win then I'll get 900 posts in June.... and I've been higher than that already so I'll probably get over 1000 posts in June.

Lol, yeah there's no way to beat you than. At this rate, you could be on the top 3 highest posters by the end of the year

I doubt I'll maintain it for that long... although I said back when I hit 2000 that I probably wouldn't post a whole lot anymore and now I'm at almost 2500.... so who knows.

I would like to break 5000. I've never posted 5000 times on any single board. I'm sure if I could add up all my message board posts it would break 5000 but I haven't hit that mark on 1 board.

But who knows what will happen in a month or in 6.... maybe you and I will battle to the death and I'll get banished from the board....

nah, but stuff happens.... hopefully I can hit that mark though

I'd like to hit 10,000 before the year ends or even by the years 5 year anniversary (new board anyway).

Speaking of that statistic, if I added up all the posts I've made on all boards, even including ones of the past, I'm sure it'd be near 20,000 for me - probably 15,000 alone just between this vizzed board and the previous 2.

yeah, but it's different when you own a board.... I've been on like 6 or 7 boards over the last 10 years or so.... I honestly don't think I've been this dedicated to posting since I was on ErkDog's board... and that was a long time ago...

But yeah, this incarnation alone you're closing in on 10,000.... which just boggles my mind.

I remember when Acmlm was at 39,000.... That was like forever ago but I remember that. Were you around then Geeo?

I was one of the first couple hundred members of the original board over there. Not that I posted much back then, but I was there. I wonder if they still have the original board archived... probably not since they went through about 3 or 4 major restarts if I remember correctly.

but yeah, Acmlm was a machine. There were tons of people over there with huge post counts.... but that board was from the late 90's I think.... like 99. I can't even remember for sure... and I can't find it anywhere online for sure...

[edit] I just remembered... it's at the bottom of the screen... it started in 2000. So the Acmlm board is nearly 10 years old. I still can't believe that.... just doesn't seem possible. So much of my online time has been spent at some sort of Acmlm board.

Could always Wayback the old boards and see if they got captured at all.

okay, I was wrong... on ErkDog's board I had over 4000 posts... but I started there around 2003 and I was single at the time .

So, I might be able to hit 10,000 total posts realistically if I add up posts from everywhere I've been... not likely but possible.

I think I became a member on the original acmlm board a year after it opened up. I opened up the first Vizzed Board like 8 years ago so yeah, a lot of time has been committed to posting for me also. I just really hate when boards start over though because than it feels like you've got nothing to show for all that posting.

well, I honestly didn't expect to win today after the start that I had. I was around 10 posts with 2 hours to go in the day... maybe less time than that.... and I just started posting in the crazy house and once I got started I just went on a rampage. I probably posted 40 times in 2 hours (I just checked... it was 43).... and I took yet another day! DH probably could have held me off if he had wanted to since he had a pretty good lead when I started posting but I guess he didn't care enough. He probably figured I was posting so much that I would pass him no matter what he tried.

a couple banned people got in the top 10 today.... but they did so with a lot of spammy posts which is unfortunate. But... I'm still on top of my game.... even when time wasn't on my side I managed to get enough posts for the win.

I think myself I just run out of things to say or don't think of stuff as quickly as I'd like.
Ah well, either way

I feel that way at times.... but I usually manage to come up with stuff...

a lot of the time I look at the crazy house and just ignore it.... but tonight i just felt like posting in it... a LOT So I did.

But I do understand that. Sometimes I feel like no one cares what I have to say...

well, not really a very exciting day. I barely posted in the last 2-3 hours. And neither did anyone else. Seems it was a slow day. Solehite tried to get the win for the day but she stopped at 36 posts and I knew I was going to post more than that. It's just so easy to do . Other than her no one really moved up anywhere. Pickletown started with 7 points so he had a good first showing... not sure if he'll last into in later days but he did okay today. But really, it was a pretty slow day. I broke 100 points finally . Not a big deal since I've been winning most of the days as it is but still a fun accomplishment. I'm sure other people will break 100 points but I wonder how many will break 200, besides me of course.

I didn't get much in today darn well ill try more tommorrow.

yeah.... but you're still doing really well.... you're 7th right now which means you have a very good chance of getting in the top 5. What you need to do for a while is make sure you get more points than at least 1 or 2 people that are in front of you and you'll move up in the ranks eventually....

and better to start now that to try with only a few days left.

I hope I get in the top 5 by the end of this month of posting.
