I don't know if this was suggested already, but is it possible to program shooting games using your computer mouse cuz when I use my keyboard to play alien 3 the gun my keyboard does not aim properly.

This was already suggested but right now it isn't possible. It would cost a lot of money for development and I think using the mouse could have problems like you can't close the game window. And you might want to use proper grammar and spelling in the forum.

I think the only system in the RGR that supports that would be SNES.

If you're talking about the Arcade games, I could only suggest getting a game controller with analog input which would improve the aiming.

hellno163 : Yeah I have tested this before with the MAME(Arcade) games and although it SEEMS like you can do it in the config settings, there is no way to assign the mouse movements with it.

I know this works by default with the some of the NES and Super NES games but I'm not sure if it works with Sega.

hellno163 :
tRIUNE :

https://www.vizzed.com/play/king-james-bible-gb-online-game-boy-2095-game

I think this might have something to do with the game being emulated, or the actual version of the rom itself? It seems like it's functioning ok on the surface. I can go into the menus, and play the mini-games but the search and the bible itself don't seem to work.

This is an unlicensed Nintendo game, so I'm not quite sure how it was programed in the first place.

Jordanv78 : MAME does technically have mouse support, but it has to be turned on. I believe it's off by default. The RGR plugin version most likely isn't configured for mouse input.

Likewise, Gens has mouse support as an option in its configuration somewhere, but I'm not sure if it's possible to use from the RGR plugin.

The reason the SNES emulator in the RGR can do it is mainly because you have full access to ZSNES's menu on here unlike just about every other RGR emulator that blocks the menu.

Crazy Li : Thanks for the heads up, but I understand that. If you read my previous posts I was just telling him that I in fact tested it, and that I couldn't get it to work, so the next assumption for me would be that it's not supported for one reason or another ;-)

The last post I was referring to the Gameboy game he asked me about.

I'm assuming the game was never correctly dumped. I tried 2 different rom dumps, one of them which is supposedly the good dump, tried the RGR Plugin's emulator with the GBA bios enabled, but neither will work on any emulator.

The closest it will get to emulating correctly is in MESS. It's the only emulator that shows the Nintendo logo while any other emulator won't have it. But it still crashes when reading the books.
