This will be a relatively short thread because well, there isn't a lot of information. The Wii U came out recently, and for many people including me, this means another chance for a new earthbound game. Its been years since mother 3 came out and we have been starved of this wonderful franchise ever since. I think the Wii U is a great opportunity for a new earthbound because the return to the classic controller feel instead of motion controls is perfect for an Earthbound game.  The game pad would be perfect for controlling the characters and picking which moves you want to do. I'm sure a lot of other people want this game as much as I do. It is currently not on the next 100 games to be released on the Wii U, but I havent given up hope. At least until Nintendo makes it we can play the fan game. Do you think this game will come out on the Wii U? Do you think Nintendo should try an earthbound with motion controls or use the game pad? Tell me in the comments.

1. i do not think this game will be released ever and if it does it will most likely be Japan only.
2. it would be better with motion controls because your inventory can be on the game pad screen. and an rpg shouldn't be played with motion controls.

Yes they should like you mentioned it's been a while since they made mother 3 but it would probably take two years until it comes out I enjoy the series
