Legend of Dragoon is game that may seem like a been there done that kind of game Legend of Dragoon offers a great in depth story all though it may be hard to understand at times and all though it has been compared to final fantasy there are elements that separate it from final fantasy such as (the pretty obvious) dragoon transformation which every character you control will have their own elemental dragoon spirit.

The graphics all though not the best it can still amaze you at times such as looking at detailed towns and castles and there are various assortments of environments so not one place will look  the same. The game play as previously mentioned before is turn based style with what you would expect attack, magic, potions, defend, and the option to run away. And a new strategic system called addition is added on the game which can be really helpful although it takes time to get used to the addition as it takes great precision to execute additions. Also dragoon spirits allow you to transform into a human dragon hybrid that increases both physical and magical attacks and take note once you turn into a dragoon it wont last all through out the battle as it only is limited to specific number of turns called spirit points but you can increase spirit points as you progress through your battles, and as soon as your party's spirit points reach max a yin yang icon will appear giving you the option to turn all of your current party into a dragoon. As mentioned before every party member has either a elemental or non elemental dragoon spirit and be careful as if you fight a water based enemy and you choose a specific member to turn into a fire based dragoon you will have a slight disadvantage (it really depends on what level your enemy is and what level you are). Also there are multiple use items that either provide defense for a specific member for a number of turns or makes an enemy confused and attack their own ally and another item that guarantees you escape you escape from battle. Aside from battle game play you are allowed to go from town to town or through open environments  through that is called the field map there is also the world map where you travel from region to the next through a dotted line and there is also the option to find all fifty star dusts which are magical wishing stones but can be difficult to find. All in all all three maps (battle, field, and world) much detail is put into them whether it would be intense moments of battle turns or detailed environments it isn't hard to tell much work was put into these elements.

The soundtrack is well composed as if you are in either a town, castle, or in a battle the soundtrack will the set the right tone and is truly unforgettable especially the serene and beautiful songs put into sections of the game. Although there isn't much voice acting the cut scenes that offer voice acting is not all that great as you would imagine but that's just a nitpick. Sound effects when on battle is pretty amazing when chaining together additions you hear every grunt your party member makes and weapon effects as well when using magical attacks sound effects come off beautifully same goes for potions and multiple use items.

Story wise Legend of Dragoon's story is well written although the plot can be confusing at times. The setting of the game takes place in a fictional continent of Endiness with a series of diverse regions. The main character of the game is Dart and you will guide him throughout the game meeting a slew of characters that will join you each with their own set of attacks and additions. The story will make you travel from one region to the next through the vast continent of Endiness and each region is big and detailed in which you progress through the story and trust me the story is completely unpredictable.

Although there are some negatives in the game Legend of Dragoon is still as every bit as good as it was when it was first released and if you're a fan of rpg games or just interested in games for rich story lines i highly recommend this game

Your review was actually pretty good with the following exception:

Please, please, please break it into paragraphs? This one single block of text is hard to read and detracts from the quality of your post.

Other than that, it's pretty good, especially for a first review.

I agree that this review would be better with double spacing between paragraphs. That makes it easier to read. With practice, proofreading, and working on fleshing out details better, I'm sure you can make some really good reviews.

Reading about this game does bring me back though... I remember how I accidentally learned of this game because it was on some demo disc I got from who-knows-where and they basically showcased the Dragoon forms as the demo. Best way to sell that game ever. I immediately rushed to Funcoland (anyone remember that store?) to buy it. I was disappointed with how long the game made me wait to use Dragoons but once I got the abilities, it was amazing again.
