Urban Champion, a game where you punch your opponents until they fall into a sewer hole, because that's what it looks like.
Instructions: The goal is to KO your opponents by repeatedly punching them to a hole in the ground where they will fall and die. Simple enough. You and your opponent get 3 lives, but if you lose them, the game ends. (No Game Over text shown...
) You can also have a 2 player game where you and your friend battle to see who's the Urban Champion. You have a stamina meter, which goes down when blocking, and attacking. I don't know what happens when it runs out though. There's also a time limit, too,
Graphics - 6
Not the best I would see, but if it is done well, it can be qualified as "ok". The background is just a lot of buildings and stuff. The animation of blocking and punching seems ok, also.
Sound - 5
Not very good, although people like NES soundtracks, I somehow prefer modern game soundtracks in 8-bit using the VRC6 chip famitracker that can be downloaded to do, honestly.
Addictiveness - 3
I don't prefer this game fun if I can't even KO a opponent, not even once! I tried so hard, trying to tap button combinations furiously trying to just win once, but no luck.
Difficulty - 10
This game is even harder than I thought it would even be classified as!
If you were to hear the name of the game, you would think of it being a good game with good controls, but it's the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! I can't even get my opponent down once because of how impossible it is to know the controls, and since you can't change the difficulty which definitly sucks, that's why I never played this game ever again after first trying! It's so damn hard!!!
Story - N/A
Another game with no storyline, but this mostly happens with NES games, as in most don't really have a story, or either the story is bad, or good, I don't know!
Depth - 2
So short and so linear that I can actually describe what this game is in one word in my opinion: Crap. Not tryiing to offend anyone, but games I find bad are sometimes not only because of the controls, but also how short it is.
Overall - 7.3
The game is only fun if you know how to play, if not, then good luck trying to find any attack combinations, because all I get is getting knocked back by my opponent because I can't get any time to learn the attacks and stuff because it never tells you unless you go onto the Internet to find out.
So that's why I hate this game. It's really a good game, but I find it bad just for myself since the crappy control curve is hard to learn without looking the controls up! I recommend this game to people who like fighting games, like street fighter or other games, though I don't find this game fun.
